"Dylan, its been a month since that interview. If someone found your hat, they would've called you by now." I said, rubbing his shoulders.Dylan was stressed out because he lost his Mets baseball cap at the Chad Michaels interview. We went back two times and called at least five times.
"I know. But that hat was my favorite out of all of them." he said, fiddling with his fingers. I was intrigued about why this blue cap was his favorite. "Why is this one so special?" I simply asked.
He looked up at me then looked back down. "You got it for me before the accident." I look at him and frown. I go back into my memories to see if I remember buying that hat. It took a second, but I remembered. I got it for him for his 18th birthday.
"Im sorry, Dyl. Will chicken make you feel better?" I asked. I already knew the answer. "Yes." his eyes lit up. I had to drive to Whataburger, which is thirty minutes away. Also, its by the location of my accident. I didn't want to drive near it, but I had to do it for Dylan. "Okay, I will be right back." I kissed his forehead, leaving a lipstick stain.
I grabbed my keys and Vera Bradley wallet of the kitchen counter, making sure I had everything I needed. I made our way to our door, that led out of our two story house. "Bye babe!" I heard Dylan shout, I smiled. I opened the door and locked it behind me.
I walked down the steps and to my car. Yes, I still have my Jeep. I've had it for seven years now!
I get my keys and unlock my car. I get in the seat, close the door, and take a deep breath.
You can do this Steph.
I set my wallet, phone, and keys in the cup holder. I backed out of the driveway and into the street.
We lived in a big neighborhood. Each house had a lot of distance in between them. We had long driveways and lots of trees. We lived in a freakin forest!
Once I got onto the main street, I was cautious. With our gate already being unlocked, I didn't have to get out of the car.
As I was driving past other houses, I created a new thought. Why don't we move? Dylan and I could afford a much bigger house that we loved much more. I know that Dylan and I just moved in together, but a new house cant hurt us.
I drove until I met the neighborhood gate. I had to roll down the window, then type in the password. Such a hassle, am I right? The gate opened and off I went. I drove over the metal that kept the gate standing tall and making it roll straightly, causing a bump.
I was driving down the highway until I got a phone call. I looked down at my phone for a spilt second, 'T-Dogg'.
I debated whether or not I should answer Tyler's call. I answered it, mindlessly. "Hey Ty, make it quick please. I'm driving." I didn't want to sound rude, but I was scared out of my mind.
"I understand. I have a quick question. Why are you driving near your crash location? You were lucky last time that you were driving your truck. Do not, and I repeat, do not wreck your Jeep." I mentally laughed. Thanks for your prayers of my safety.
"Don't worry. Rosie isn't going anywhere for a long time." I glanced over at Lamborghini that drove past.
I took my eyes of the road for one second.
My head bangs on the steering wheel, then on the window. "Stephanie! Whats going on?!" my phone flew to the back of the Wrangler. All of a sudden, my car starts to roll. Bouncing each time it hit the ground. My head banging back and forth.
Finally, the car stopped.
I was okay.
My head hurt and my forehead was bleeding. I looked in the rearview mirror. I saw that my back window was completely cracked. I turned my head to look but I screamed in pain. A tear slipped from my left eye. I tried to keep my body facing straight, but it wasn't comfortable.
The whole front window was shattered.
I looked out the window, I saw ambulances a mile away. Then I realized Tyler was still on the phone. "Stephanie!" he was sobbing. I tried to speak, "Ty I-I am okay" my voice sounded hoarse.
"Oh my god! About what I said, it wasn't true. Im sorry! I called Dylan, he is already on his way to the the hospital." he was sniffling now.
This all happened way to fast. It was a good four years, the best. AJ died, but I didn't feel sadness, I felt anger.
I cant handle all of this. It was all going good. I gained my memories, got my boyfriend back, and entered the career as an actor. We are shooting season four of Teen Wolf. It was all supposed to be good.
As I sat here, I gained more pain. I bleeding slightly more. My headaches made my head throb. And seeing for crashed cars in front of me, didn't make me feel any better. This wasn't just a crash of two or three cars, more like fifty.
The ambulances sirens didn't make me feel any better. But at least they finally reached me. Three men walked up to my destroyed Jeep. They broke the back window, so no glass flew onto me.
"Ma'am, I am going to unlock this door and get in. I am going to reach over you and unlock your door so then I can get you out of here and into an ambulance." I heard the screams of families and children. Probably because of the death of a family member.
"Okay." my voice was sounding better. He unlocked the backdoor by putting his arm through the window and flipped a switch. He opened the door and crawled in. The two other men were standing by my door, waiting for it to be unlocked.
The man reached over me and flipped the switch-thing. The quickly opened the door and unbuckled my seatbelt. Thank God I wasn't upside down. They picked me up and gently carried me to the nearest ambulance.
The two men carried me through a maze of cars to get to the ambulance. The other man walked off to help someone else.
After ten minutes of them walking, while carrying me, they found a vacant one. The opened the back, putting me on the stretcher.
"She has blood loss, so do a rotational blood circuit. Get her to Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital now." one of the two men said.A lady jumped into the back with me while the men ran off to help other people. I looked at her, she had short brown hair and green eyes. "Okay darling, I'm going to put you to sleep. It will help with the pain and make the process much easier." she said. I nodded my head, I groaned in pain. "Neck pains, huh. I will give you some medications for that." she injected me with anesthesia. "You'll wake up soon, darling." My eyelids got heavier and heavier.
Soon I was asleep.
(a/n) how did you like the chapter?? I know you probably hate me for doing this to Stephanie but trust me, this is how the story line goes. stay tuned :)
