Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Andrew Flash, yes that is my real name, and no, my friends do not bestow me nicknames such as Lightning or Kodak. However, I unlike them have not ignored the abundance of puns that lurk within the facepalm-friendly catacombs of careless comedy. I often refer to my family and myself as "The Flash Mob" although no one is my family but I actually sing, or dance, unless you count my four-year old sister, who toddles about onstage during her dance recitals. It is safe to say she has more artistic qualities within the contents of her soiled pull-ups than my whole household combined.
I am the vocalist in a band, which has met with moderate local success. we call ourselves Leading Ladies of Lachrymose. Lachimose means sadness, most of our fangirls do not know that, so to you my reader I give this information, and also if you are that fangirl who threw her bra at me when we were playing at my little brother's birthday party, I'll have you know it was highly inappropriate especially considering him and his nine year old friends were a majority of the guests. And furthermore don't think I am having a guy to guy talk about why he suddenly experiences a tingly in his dingly, no siree.
Anyways, getting back to my band, the Leading Ladies of Lachrymose: also known as the fourth leading band in the local region on Reverbnation.com, an accomplishment to be proud of surely (sarcasm) We chose our name because every Friday when we would rehearse, we would have a special sortof gimmick, and one eventful Friday said gimmick was "Wear a Hot-Topik Dress to Rehearsal Day." a holiday worthy of national recognition, when we decided gothic dresses would be a great look for the band in both an ironic and a social statement-like sort of way , thus dressed in drag, we stepped out and started being the premier indie-post-blackened-symphonic-progressive-nu metal-Nintendo glamcore band of upstate New York. Although, despite the fangirls and the attention, I would certainly love to enjoy the finer pleasures in life, like a real girlfriend, and some actual real friends for once. Anyone? anyone? no? okay.
