The Promise

Jack POV

In the morning I realized that it was 6:30AM. The alarm clock was beeping. I looked at the clock and then looked at Kim. She was using her finger to "draw" circles around my chest. She looked so beautiful. Her head was still on my chest.

Kim: So... It's time to wake up.

She then turned off the alarm clock.

Jack: Yeah. Are you sure you want to go to school though? I could always stay here overnight. After all my dad is still at his girlfriends house.

Kim: No its ok. Can I ask you something?

Jack: Sure. What is it?

Kim: What was it like... when your mom died? If you don't mind my asking.

Jack: Its fine, it was a sad moment. I would cry all the time. I felt lonely. But them you came along.

Kim: I know that feeling....

I saw her eyes look down. I know how she felt.

Jack: I want you to know that I'll always be here Kimmy. I love you now and always.

We kissed passionately and it went deeper. When we spread apart I wanted to kiss her more. But she just got up and wanted to take a shower. After she went in the shower I went to my room through the window to change. Then when I came back to her room through the window it was 7:30. She changed into a beautiful blued dress and blue sandals. She looked amazing. Her hair was beautifully curled.

Kim: What do you think?

Jack: You look stunning!!!

Kim POV

After that we left to go to the coffee shop next to school. We shared a small latte to finish quickly. We shared a few kisses at the coffee shop. When we went to school everyone stared at me. It was frightening. Alot of people came up to me about my relationship with Jack or the break in at my house. We walked to the gang and started talking. Adriana then came up to me and started talking to me in a devilish manner.

Adriana: What happened yesterday, are you ok?!

Kim: Yeah...

Adriana: ok cool. So what happened to you. You look like you came out of a dumpster.

I felt like punching her in the face but Jack over heard and stepped in front of me.

Jack: She looks beautiful.

Adriana: I was just kidding Jack! Kim you look beautiful!!! Ill see you tonight Jack!

Jack: Actually I was gonna watch a movie with Kim at her house!

Kim: You were?! I mean... You were!!! Yeah we are gonna watch a horror movie.

Adriana: Can I come?

Kim: uh... Sure.

Adriana: Thx. Jack can I talk to you?

Then the bell rang. Thank God!!!! I officially hate her!!!

Adriana POV

At lunch I saw them sitting down at a lunch table, I also saw a flyer that said jack and Kim were the hottest couple. So I went up to Jack and kissed him on the lips. I would never do something like that but I did. Then I walked away leaving everyone wide-eyed with their jaws down.

Kim: JACK!

Jack: I didn't kiss her!!!

Kim: But you let her kiss you! Forget this we are over!!!

Kim poured lemonade over his head and then she walked away. She left somewhere. I felt a little guilty but she was stealing MY man. She is a bitch! Jack then gave me a look. I knew he was mad at me. But I loved him so idc. I left to go to class early. When it was time to go home. I saw Kim walking alone and Jack behind her.

Jack POV

I tried to run after Kimmy. She turned around.

Kim: WHAT?!?!?!

Jack: Look you saw what happened, she came up to me!!

Kim: I don't Care!!!

Jack: fine!

I felt lost. Adriana came up to me and explained she was jealous and asked me to be her boyfriend. I said yes and we were official. Even if I still loved Kim.

Kim POV

I couldn't believe what happened and what she did. I thought we would be together forever.....

When I got home I went to the kitchen and I saw a knife on the kitchen counter. I asked myself "when did i put that there." I stared at it,thinking. I grabbed it and started cutting myself. I was sad, lonely, and depressed. I felt it was the only thing I could do. After that I went outside to walk to Julie's house to talk about what had happened. I still had my dress on and the bloody cuts so if anyone saw me they could still see my cuts.

I then saw Jack at the corner of my eye and his beautiful smile. I still loved him. My vision started getting blurry, I could barely walk. I heard him call my name. I dropped to the ground. I heard him talking to me.

Jack: Don't worry Kimmy, help is on the way!!!

Jack POV

The ambulance came after she passed out. I felt guilty, like it was my fault...
