Mech Tier 1: Welcome to Kira Academy

"Okay Ruki, just need to go through that door and enlist... then the journey can begin." Ruki said as he look up at the sign on the recruitment department. He was finally able to join the K program otherwise known as the Kira program. 15 is the minimum age to join and he always wanted to join it. Reason why as simple. The Mechanized Armor Combat Body, MACB for short.  Ruki took two steps to the door and opened it. As he enter inside the building he saw the front desk. There a woman sat at the opposite end of the desk. He walked toward to the desk and looked at the woman. She wore a white officer uniform with a nurse hat which frankly threw off the whole look. She was beautiful and had a black short hair. The woman look up at Ruki and smile.

"Hello my name is Tina. Are you here to enlist for our K program?" As soon as she said that everyone look at Ruki. It was strange that someone would want to join at an age of 15, usually they were around 17 or 18 near to the maximum limit to join, which was 20 years old. Reason why so young is because the MACB can not bond with people with a fully mature brain which is around 25. Whatever the reason this is, it can not be helped because they can't fix that.

"Yes I am." Ruki said almost proudly. He then looked around at the people that was staring him down. He didn't understand why it was weird for him to enlist but he didn't paid any attention to it. In fact, he actually kind of like the attention. 

"Just fill in the paper work and come back to me when you are done." Tina said as she handed a single piece of paper that's is about 5 inches long and only contains two things, his name and age. He figured the rest they would asked him themselves during the physical test. 

When Ruki finish filling in the papers and gave it to Tina who read the paper. "Alright Ruki please head to the door and enter, after that walk straight ahead to the room that says 'K Program'. go through there and the people there should tell you what to do there." 

Ruki nodded and headed to the door and walk to the door that said "K Program". Once he entered the room he saw three people. One was a woman who wore a scientist lab coat and glasses with a blank stare, almost as if she wasn't interested about who she was observing. The other was a Military man who stood tall and was bulky with an intimidating stare, he can easily tell that was the general. He wasn't bother by the stare, but he was bother by the man who wore a business outfit. He knew who he was, the founder of Kira Industry executive Hismanto. 

They were testing a boy who was around 17 counting how many push ups he can do. Ruki glanced over to see two more guys waiting the corner. He walked over to the two guys and waited with them.

"Hey there are you here for the K program?" One of the boys whisper.

"Yes I am, I'm assuming this is where was wait to be tested right?" Ruki said as his eyes locked with the general. The General looked away but not before giving a look of what looks like he was interested of Ruki. 

"Yeah it is you came just in time too, they just started the test." The boy said putting Ruki bringing him back from his thoughts. 

"This guy here is like a tank.... 90 push ups and now his running on the treadmill." The other guy whisper which brought Ruki and the other boy to the guy on the treadmill. He was tall, with black hair and had a large build, he look about his 18. Compare to Ruki, (which by the way he was a medium body type) this guy can beat him within a minute or so if he got a few lucky hits. After 30 minutes, the guy was finish with his test and the military general handed him a box. 

"Good Job, cadet John welcome to the K Program." The military general said saluting to him.

"Thank you General Kilo!" John said and headed over to the corner where we were.

"Next person!" The scientist lady shouted and the furthest guy from Ruki walked two steps before General Kilo stop him.

"Not you yet... I want to see that one." General Kilo said and pointed to Ruki. He gave him a sinister grin as he curling his fingers motioning him to come over. Ruki took a deep breath and walked over to the General and the scientist. 

"Cadet! What is your name and age?" The General said.

"Ruki Jarfar sir! Age 15." Ruki stand straight looking into the general Kilo's eyes. They were cold and hard, but there was a slight amusement in them as if he found Ruki interesting.

"Dont worry about the block head here... Just listen to me and we be done in no time." The female scientist said. "Now let's begin." She click her pen opening it up. 

After a hour or two of pulls ups, push ups, 3 miles treadmill runs, and many other exercises, and in all  of them, he pass without too much sweat. Of course he was sort of tired, but he trained for this very day so this is like another work out for him.

"Wow.... Good work... not only did you pass all the test, but you did them better than anyone around your height and age." The scientist lady said with a little more excitement.

"Luna. Don't be too exciting now" General Kilo said, then toss a medal to Ruki, unlike the other guy, this one was golden. "Welcome to K program... Take that door and head in with the other cadets with that same golden medal."

"You did better than anyone since you have that golden medal." Luna said pushing her glasses back up. "Go ahead to the door..."

Ruki then turn to the door, there was no label or anything. Then he turn to the other cadets, they were surprised and confused of what had happen. Then Ruki walk to the door and open it.

One years ago

"How many has survive the test?" a voice said.

"Not many..... around 5 people out of 40." One female voice said.

A man walk back and forth thinking over the lives that has been lost. "How man of our new MACS are built?" he asked after a long moment.

"Ironically we have exactly 5 built....... executive Hismanto." The female said.

"Then we need 5 of the best pilots to bond with them. Start giving test." Hismanto said urgently. This was the most important project yet.... this must be a success. Hismanto thought.

"We have already have... 4 total matches sir." The female said.

"4 out of 5? What about the last one?"

"The last one would now bond with any other subject.... this particular MACB is picky with it's pilots."

"How many of them try?"

"All of them."

"Then it want's one thing..." Hismanto look at the computer showing all the fail pilots that tried. "It need a fresh mind... someone new to Kira Adcadmey fresh new cadets... 50 of them... they will be given a gold medal... General Kilo will select them as I watch over personally. You will be there too Luna."

Luna push her glasses, "Are you sure sir? Do you really want to do this? Those cadets will be so young....."

Hismanto stared at the MACB for a long time before answering. "Maybe that's what its wants.... someone new... someone who, like itself, is new to the MACB capabilities."

"But who Hismanto?"

"Time will tell... time well tell.." Hismanto said as he walks to the door and leaves.

I hope it's soon.... the war would only get worst if it doesn't, Hismanto thought.
