The Twins

Scene 1:
It was 6AM in the morning, Paromesh and Binita were still in the bed and Sharmistha was preparing tea. All of a sudden, Radha started shouting from her room Pintu!! (Paromesh). Everyone rushed to Radha's room and found Radha difficult to breath. Paromesh took the inhaler and blow it in her mouth. Radha was feeling better. She asked Sharmistha and Binita to go out as she wanted to talk to her son personally. Once they left, Radha said that she wanted to tell Paromesh a truth which is haunting her quite some time. Paromesh asked her what it was. Radha replied saying that he has a twin brother. Paromesh was shocked and confused. Radha started explaining her flashback

Scene 2: Radha's flash back
Radha, Radhi Apte originally belongs to an upper class Marathi family from Mumbai. Her father Balandhi Apte is a real estate broker. She was in her first year college when she first time met Partha Chatterjee (Paromesh's father). Eventually they fell in love and Radha in her final year told her parents that she is in love with Partha, her father slapped her and said that she is not suppose to go out of the house anymore. Partha being from middle class Bengali family could do nothing apart from moving on. In few months Radha's father got her married to his partner's son Rachit Bendre. Radha slowly started living her new life with Rachit.

Scene 3: Radha meets Partha
6 months later, Radha accidently met Partha in a library. After few seconds of awkwardness, Partha asked Radha how she is. Radha replied saying that she is good and asked Partha whether he is married or dating someone. Partha said no. Radha smiled and asked him to find someone soon. Both walked together and came out of the library for a coffee. Radha asked Partha what he is doing now, Partha replied saying that he works for a The Hindu and covers crime section. After a brief conversation, Partha escorted Radha to her car. While leaving Radha again insisted Partha to find someone soon.

Scene 4: RIOT in Andheri, Mumbai
Few weeks later, there was ROIT in Andheri Mumbai and Radha came to know that a Journalist from The Hindu was killed in the RIOT. She was restless and called The Hindu office even they were not sure who was killed as 6 people were covering the RIOT. One of them was Partha. There was 144 section allover Mumbai and no one was suppose to go out of the house. Radha's husband was stuck in Pune. Radha couldn't hold anymore. She somehow managed to get the address of Partha and went to his house. Partha's house was locked. She started crying sitting outside the door. Few minutes later Radha noticed Partha opening the gate and coming inside. She got up and hugged him. Partha was clueless and asked her what happened. She explained him. Partha convinced and got her inside. He gave her some water and asked her to relax. Radha who was sitting next to Partha leaned on his shoulder and holded his hands. She asked sorry for leaving him. Partha asked Radha to forget about the past and said that though she left him, he still loves her and he will not get married to anyone else. Listening to that Radha kissed Partha. Partha was shocked for a second but later he kissed her back. They eventually made love. While leaving Radha said that she don't want to meet Partha again as her life will get into trouble if she does

Scene 5: Heteropaternal
Radha resumes her normal life with Rachit; few weeks later Rachit took Radha to hospital as she was feeling low. The doctor said that she is conceived. Rachit was happy to hear that, but Radha was confused. Rachit was taking care of her like a Queen. Radha had a guilt feeling that the baby might not be Rachit's. She wanted to tell this to Rachit but she was scared. 9 months later, Radha gave birth to non identical twins. Rachit and the entire family were happy. Radha couldn't resist the guilt anymore and told Rachit what happened. Radha also said that she is not sure whether Rachit is the father of the kids. Listening to this Rachit started yelling at her. Radha tried to convince him but he was not ready to listen to her and went out of the room. Rachit went and asked the doctor to do a DNA check up and find out whether those are his kids. The doctor took a DNA test and informed Rachit that the kids are Heteropaternal Superfecundation twins. Heteropaternal superfecundation occurs when different males father each twins. According to which one kid is Rachit's kid (Ajay Bandre) and the other one is Partha's kid (Paromesh Chatterjee). Rachit took his kid and left the hospital. He informed Radha's parents about what happened and has decided not to live with her anymore. Radha's parents scolded her and asked her not to show her face anymore. Radha took Partha's kid and left the hospital. When she went out she saw Partha waiting for her. She went to him and showed the kid and started crying. Partha consoled her and took her to his place. Few weeks later, Partha moved to Kolkata with Radha and his kid Paromesh. They started a new life.

Scene 6: Radha's wish
After telling all these to Paromesh, Radha requested Paromesh that she wanted to see Ajay once. After all Ajay is also her son. Paromesh after listening to this entire thing was confused. Though he don't have any interest in meeting Ajay, looking at Radha's health condition Paromesh promised her that he will bring Ajay and went to Mumbai
