"Babe, you okay?" Taehyung looked over while driving.
I had been staring out of the window for almost the entire trip and the roof of the school could already be seen.
"I...I guess so. I just don't know why my brother seems so against you..." I replied nonchalantly.
"Yeah, I find it hard to believe myself..." he laughed as he saw me glare at him. "Kidding. He's just protective over you okay? To both of us, you are our princess. It's just that we show it in different ways, okay?"
Yeah I guess... OR he could really just hate you...I see it in his eyes.... "You think so? Phew... I really thought he hated us together, " I forced that out along with a smile.

In School
"Soo Young-ah, I'm going to class already, see you in lunch okay?" He smiled at me before walking over to his group of friends.
I laughed to myself as I saw him and his friends suddenly jump around like hyper monkeys and yelling as they ran down the halls while slamming the occasional locker.
Well, almost all of his friends. There was this one guy, just leaning on the lockers, not bothering to hide the fact that he was looking at me up and down. I shot him a look and quickly walked to my locker to put my books. There weren't any lessons that day but I didn't want to bring them tomorrow so I decided to bring them one day earlier.
SLAM!
My locker door was suddenly slammed shut. I turned around to see MinSeok resting his one arm on the locker and looking down on me.
"Soo Young, did you go to Tennessee during the holidays?"
"No, why?" Where did he hear that from??
He smirked, "Cause you're the only ten I see!"
I laughed, "Maybe next time, Minnie. I'm sure you'll find a line that'll suit you sooner or later. "
"Urghhh, it's just so hard to pick up girls nowadays. You have to be either hot or good at socialising and I don't think I'm excelling in both..." he said with his face filled with sudden sadness.
I let out an exaggerated gasp, grabbed both of his shoulders and shook the living daylights out of him.
"IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW, LET ME BREAK IT DOWN FOR YOU. YOU HAVE YOUR OWN FANCLUB IN THIS SCHOOL AND THEY EVEN FOLLOW YOU TO THE GYM TO SEE YOU WORK OUT SO EVEN IF YOU CANT FIND THE PERFECT LINE, YOU'LL STILL BE ABLE TO FALL BACK ON YOUR LOOKS AND ABS. I honestly don't get you sometimes Minnie..." I shook my head in fake disappointment.
"Aww, did I make my little sister angry? I'm sorry... Soo Young-ah...don't be mad...Soo Young-ah~" he cooed.
"I'm fine! Sheesh...and I'm not your sister," I glared at him but with the corners of my mouth twitching.
He ruffled my hair, "Aw, don't be like that. I treat you well enough for you to be my sister, " he winked.
I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, yeah, you're such an AMAZING 'brother'. You even practice flirting with me....just like YiXing hahahaha. Yeah, now go. I need to get to class."
"SEE, I'm just the brother you never had. The big man just put us in different families, that's all. Yeah you're right, we should get going. Bye!" He ruffled my hair once again before running off to his classroom which was three levels up. He was three years older than me and since our school separated the classrooms according to your level, I was separated from YiXing as well. Levels 1 & 2 were on the first storey. Levels 3 & 4 were on the second and Levels 5 & 6 were on the third storey.
I smiled to myself and rushed to my classroom.
"Soo Young! Come sit here beside me!"
I looked around and found my best friend, Cho Hee waving wildly at me and pointing to the seat beside her. I quickly walked over and sat there just as the teacher walked in.
"Good morning class, you shall address me as Mr Park and I will be your class' homeroom and math teacher for this year..."
As he droned on about how we should behave in his class, I leaned over and whispered in Cho Hee's ear, "Hey, where's Mi Yeon??"
"I'm not sure...she's either not feeling well or is still on vacation with her family," she whispered back.
Luckily for us, we had mastered the essential art of speaking without getting caught so Mr Park didn't notice us going against rule number 5 on the board.

After much droning, the bell finally decided to save us from the torture. I walked out together with Cho Hee when I felt a familiar pressure located at my lower body.
"Crap....uh Cho Hee? I need to go to the restroom for awhile. You go ahead first and I'll meet you in the next class okay?"
She just nodded and ran off.
Once I got out of the bathroom, I speed walked to my next class only to be stopped by an arm that leaned against the wall, blocking my way. My eyes trailed up from the hand to the owner's face.
Well that's just great. It's that guy who was staring at me just now...
"Please get out of the way, I'm going to be late for class," I tried to say it as politely as I could.
"Ooh, feisty... I like that in girls. Where are you gonna be after school? Maybe we could talk and... do more things other than talking which involves... screaming my name. "
I tried my best not to twist my face in disgust and replied, "Omg, please don't bring me to a haunted house and scare me, I'd hate that so much..." I was trying to get out of the conversation as fast as possible.
Confusion swept over his face, "What? No, I mean- "
"Oh! Look at the time, I'm so sorry, I need to go now, " I said as I pushed past him and ran to my class.
Phew, just in time...I thought as I took my place beside Cho Hee
Wait... I'm going to see that guy for the rest of the year... what am I going to do...?
End of Chapter 2
Who do you think that guy is?? O.o
