Chapter 8: In yo faces (part 3)

Chan's POV

I woke up in the couch of my room with a small blanket. And I felt my aching neck with my hand. As I was feeling my neck, I stood up and walked to the shower and prepared my shower water. I walked to my dresser and prepared my outfit which was a blue shirt with a pair of black shorts and a high-cut converse.

And walked to my bathroom and took a long bath.

Chen's POV

I woke up earlier than Chan and started to think of a prank to pull on my twin sister. So while thinkin' of stuff that I could do to prank, I kind of felt hungry and I remembered that I was too busy to even eat my breakfast.

I ate some Cheerios and a banana, and after that I decided to call Raven over and it was kinda tricky without my sister knowing that raven even came in. But I worked out a plan and asked a little help from our tech friend which was Jade and Raven's sister-Jade.

Raven and I was talking about our prank but thought of nothing. After that moment, we heard my sister scream and said "Ahh! There's pecan pie ."

And suddenly I snapped, so I said to Raven to stay in my room quietly because I was going to go check on my sister. I went out my room, closed the door and went directly to my sister which was frozen and stuck looking at the refrigerator. But there was no pecan pie, only cheesecake. And when my sister heard say that she was relieved.

"Sis, there is no pecan pie and you're staring at a delicious slice of cheesecake."I said.

Chan replied"Phew! I'm relieved and thankful."

"But there's a small bowl of broccoli that you can snack on later.

She shouted" Ahhh! There's broccoli"

She fainted but I caught her before she fell on the ground. And I brought her to her room.And I think I forgot about Chan's fear of broccoli, pecans and pies. After laying Chan on her bed, I dashed into my room and when I got there Raven was laying on my bed, faced down and was fast asleep. I woke her up by tickling her.

As soon as Raven woke up, we talked about how we would prank my sister.

We came up with an amazing plan and we know that it is amazing and brilliant because Raven and I made it.

PLAN:

Raven and Chen will prepare dinner with a side of broccoli and their dessert will be pecan pie.

Chan's POV

While waking up, I saw visuals of broccoli and pecan pie talking to me which was the most terrifying thing I have ever seen. But finally I snapped out of it and I looked at the window and the light was dim which means it is 6 o'clock in the evening. I washed my face with lukewarm water and after that I heard my sister call out "Dinner!". So I put my hair into a high ponytail and got out of my room. When I reached the dining table, I sat down on one of the 4 chairs. I saw Raven sit down on the left chair that was in front of me and I asked her " What are you doing here? Don't take wrongly, I was just asking.". Raven replied " Chen invited me ,just now while you were sleeping, to eat dinner wit you guys.".

I was so bored and started playing with my mouth which made silly duck sounds. I was cut by my amazed eyes and nose. Want to know why? It's because my sister was carrying this silver tray with this silver cover that they use in some restaurants and in most cafes. And it smells so good.

When my sister put the tray down, she didn't open it though and she sat down. I was wondering why my sister didn't open the tray but I didn't wonder for too long because I was so hungry so I decided to open the silver tray myself. But the only pieces of food on the plates were carrots, mashed potato with gravy, steak and BROCCOLI. I wanted to eat happily because of the stress and surprise these past three days. But because I was so hungry and so tired, I just decided to eat the food.

Chen's POV

I was having this confused yet happy feelings inside me. I was happy because I finally helped my sister overcome her fear of broccolis and I'm not sure with the pecan pie. And I'm confused because I was pretty sure that she would faint.
But anyways, we had to go to phase 2 of the last plan.

Chan's POV

So while eating dinner, I was thinking why I hated broccoli in the first place. It tasted amazing.
I finished my dinner and asked my sister if she prepared any dessert. And she said that she did.

She stood up, walked into the kitchen and picked up a plate with some kind of cake. As she put it down, my eyes and mouth was so excited. But then I saw pecan pie. I gagged when I saw the pie. I was so done that moment, and I decided to take a glass of water and go to bed.

Chen's POV

When my sister headed for her room, Raven and I ate the pie ,and she even took some home.

So then I washed the dishes, walked to my room, changed to my sleepwear, brushed my teeth, combed my hair and have gone to sleep remembering the half-successful prank that Raven and I did.
