Hello { A Jeyna Story }

Hello ||part 2||

"Hello from the outside,
at least I can say that I've tried. To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart,"

Jason stumbled back again, Reyna's words cascaded through his brain and piercing his heart like a knife flew start into his chest. He didn't know what to say. As his brain recollected his memories and thoughts floating endlessly, he looked at Reyna. The Praetor. The leader. His friend, or could he even call them friends anymore? Jason realized that he had torn Reyna apart. He betrayed and forgot her and didn't even acknowledge the hell he put the obsidian-haired through. How many hours had she cried over that blue eyed boy? How many hours did she think about him? How many times had she wanted to tell him the misery she was facing because of Jason? He hadn't thought about how the way Reyna looked at him recently. Not with hatred, but almost a form of regret. Did Reyna regret meeting Jason? These questions pounded against Jason's skull, trying to get lose to find the answers.
He didn't know how much time had passed since Reyna's outburst. It could have been 10 seconds, but it felt more like hours.

Jason made the mistake of looking up. Reyna was crying. One of the strongest leaders and fighters this camp has had was crying. Jason had only see Reyna cry twice, as he remembered. But then he could comfort her and say that everything will be okay. He couldn't do that. Everything will certainly not be okay. Reyna was anger. More than anger probably ; furious.

"R-Reyna?" was all Jason could seem to get out of his scarred lips.

"What Jason?! Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about!" Reyna snapped back, raising her voice ever so slightly. "You left me. And you never bothered to come back! Don't you realize that I waited for you? When you went missing, my life fell apart basically! Then Percy had to come in and introduce this prophecy! And after months and months and months of trying to see you and I finally do, you act like I don't exist!"

Reyna looked at the ground after finishing her screaming, not daring to look up. Tears spilled out of her eyes, staining her cheek.

"but it don't matter, it clearly doesn't tear you apart anymore."

She didn't know what made her finally tell Jason all of this, maybe just guilt.

After a minute of silence or more, the praetor looked up to see Jason staring at the ground, tears dropping from his eyes too. She wondered what her words had don't to him. What she had just changed forever. Before thinking, Reyna quietly whispered one last thing:

"I don't love you anymore Jason. Not like I did before."

Hey !¡ Sorry that was a short chapter. It's really late at night for me so my writing is bad and sluggish rn :/ I'll try to update sooner. Also, I would love to hear some feedback from you amazing people.
