I flipped the board, jumped swiftly and landed back on my board with the grace of a swan. I walked over to Teresa, my friend holding my hot pink skateboard in hand. "Great Flip!" Teresa exclaimed as she put on her knee pads so fast someone who was watching her might think she was being timed! "Watch this!" she said with pride. She got on the skate ramp and rappedly did a double jump on her navy blue board. "Woah!" I said "Can I try?" "Okay Tryslin!" She said. I put on my helmet and got on the ramp. I twisted my body forward and tried to ricochet the board like she did. I closed my eyes and, if not just for a split second I felt as if I was flying. Then the feeling ended and I felt a pain in my leg. When I opened my eyes the pain was greater than I could imagine. Tears came dripping out of my eyes like a waterfall. I screamed in pain, and because the light was fading. I could make out Teresa running away and a blue eyed boy carrying me to an ambulance, and rocking me with his warm hands in till the light faded.
When I got to the hospital the boy was gone, an my leg was in a cast layerd over and over with cloth, and the pain in my heart was worse than the pain in my leg, I had no clue why, after all i barly knew the guy and all I can remember was the look of concern on his face as he carried me, but it wasn't the concern in his face that made my heart drop, it was the look of caring, that got to me and made me feel like the luckiest girl alive. Because, while every one else was just scaerd to death, there he was, carrying a bleeding girl, and rocking her all the while... nothing fased him. He had the eyes that looked like they could see into the future, but at the same time they made me feel like I was I was one step closer to the past...
