Finding Ava was resulting in a harder task then we originally thought. She isn't in the sitting room or anywhere near that. Abruptly, I call out "Marcus, Sam! Stop!" They skid to a halt next to the attic doors. Something was odd about this room it gives me a bad feeling. Stepping toward the door, I reach out of hand and receive a jolt. Instinct makes me grab Sam and Marcus and run. With an iron grip, I lead them outside into the forest running on autopilot. Left and right we weave in and out of the trees we reach the center. A circle of trees around us and a shining stone lying in the center. Releasing them both it seemed like a dam broke.
Marcus's question bombarded me. "Where are we? Why did you bring us here? Gwen what's going on?" I raise my hand effectively stopping the flurry of questions.
"I shall explain to enough but first we must deal with something" I spoke my voice having a different tone. An elegant yet powerful tone, a look at shock passes over their faces and they nod in understanding. Walking to the stone, I left my left arm and right twisting my wrist, then bringing my palms together. Sparks fly, images pass to my mind as I beckon to Marcus and Sam. The sparks become a silver hue around my hands. I grab a hold of both men as the silver hue envelops them getting so bright they could not see. Yet, I can see everything in a perfect detail. I see the energy running through every living thing. I can see when it will die and how to slow it down. Marcus' energy reminds me of fire: yellow, reds, and orange colors swirling around. Samuel has a dark green energy it varies and shades but seems constant. The more I gaze at the energy of those in front of me, I started to see a purple lining around there energy. It seems to be a constructing and draining away the energy. Without a second thought, I sent my energy colliding with the mysterious one. It seems somehow canceled it. Like a flip of a switch, I step back and gain control in my body. I shake my head, clearing my thoughts and focus on the people in front of me.
"Are you guys alright" I question uncertainly, nods are the only conformation I receive. A splitting pain shoots through my forehead and I stumble to the rock sitting down. An image pops in my head, a bloody body lying on the stone. Sobs, silver hue hands, and despair are what I see and feel. Someone is dying and I cannot save them. The next image is the stone shining with a piece breaking off. The small stone is blood red, with a lion symbol in the middle. More images fly past all involving the stone. It heals the good hearted and harms the wicked. As I come to that conclusion the pain became a memory. Blinking rapidly to adjust to the sunlight, I notice I am not in the forest or on the stone. I'm in a field with a tree straight ahead. I walk toward the tree, rapidly approaching until I'm right on it. The tree had the word life engraved on it. The roots go off in all directions to the right is a waterfall; to the left is a cliff. The rustling of leaves brought my attention up where I saw someone sitting on the bridge.
"Who are you" I call out. The mysterious person gracefully jumps down to my side. I gasp quietly as I recognize person. It's the woman I saw in the memories. The one who looks like me yet is different.
"I'm you" She answers, voice like honey. My face scrunches up in confusion and I was about to answer.
"Sit and ill explain everything, okay?" she says soothingly, I ungracefully take a seat in front of her. "Ava has spoken with you about your past life. I am the way to a member everything. I was triggered when you were exposed to magic. That's why you keep getting flashes of things you don't understand. I took control to save your friends. Here you can safely remember everything to be prepared for the future. It will take something sometime and you still have to train your magic. Once you remember how to do all things you'll be at half power. Practicing and training will have you at full power again." She pauses looking at the tree and says "It looks like we are done for now, a warning though. If you get into a bind, follow your instincts. They will guide you. Eesay ouyay"
