Jealousy can prompt people to do some crazy things, but then again so can rage...
The sky was as black as the devil's soul. The world became cellar-dark and the buckling, heaving sky looked fit to collapse down on top of me.
Then there was an explosion like a sonic boom, doom-black clouds, pregnant with malice, churned and roiled.
They looked as vaporous as mist, and as fleecy as black wool.
My tears streamed down my face as I boldly stood in the middle.
A clanking sound could be heard from the sky. It was as if and anvil was being dragged across the vault of heaven against its will.
Branched lightening lit up the sky.
Buzzing and hissing they trembled with the anger of being shackled to the sky since time began.
I stood against it, using the anger, I stretched out my hand calling forth the storm, as my lips chanted the forbidden spell.
I narrowed my eyes as it hit a tree. Lightening was the megawatt smile of nature, but there was nothing friendly about the terra-watts of violence it unleashed.
One hit...I just need one. One for my pain and suffering. For the loss of a child for the loss of my beloved.
I glared into the sky. "Give it to me! Give me the power!" I screamed.
I just needed one.
One for the chance to give death to my enemies, to bring upon the earth an eternal plague of blood, death and carnage.
Just one, one for revenge.
And then lightning struck me.
Hopefully this first chapter doesn't suck as much as I think it does.Enjoy.
