Panting, the two siblings separated and went their separate ways to their class rooms.

Yuki's classroom was just next to her brother's, so it was quite hard to block out the squeals of young, innocent highschool girls.

Catching a breath, Yuki saw her brother slide open the old wooden door of the classroom. Almost immediately, you could hear the floor screech loud and clear when the girls abruptly stood up and their chairs pushed backwards suddenly.

Almost in unison, all of them cried, "Good morning Haru-san!"

Then Haru would give them his usual pearly white smile and slide the door close behind him.

All Yuki did was sigh and slid her classroom door open. Her class didn't have the same reaction, well,except the teacher in charge scolding her for being late.

Sighing again, she quickly made her way to her seat, just nicely behind her best friend's.

She dropped her heavy bag down on the floor with a thud and pushed her chair in.

The teacher started.

The boy in front of her turned behind and still had the same cheeky smile he had on since the first day of school.

"Late again? Oh wait, let me guess, "Haru-san" "helped" you in that,"

Yuki rested her face on her hand and stared out of the window beside her desk. Combing a strand of hair behind her ears, she bit her lip.

"No need to remind me Shinya, I'm already pathetic enough. Just the start of the school term and I'm late. And don't get me started on what happened last night," Yuki grumbled, eyes narrowed on a small sparrow on a tree branch beside the school building.

Shinya giggled and turned forward.

~~~
The bell finally rang, Yuki let out another huge sigh and pushed herself backwards in the chair. Shinya was already being dragged by a girl in her class outside to have lunch with her.
What can I do?
Just then, a hand glided over her black hair and combed a lock up. Sensing, Yuki shot up from her seat and turned backwards.
"Aww...I was just about to smell it~"
There stood her brother, with the same tousled black hair and unkept fringe hanging loosely over his eyes.
Yuki placed her hands on her small hips and pointed a finger at Haru.
"Just what are you doing here? You are basically the source of crowds and you know how much I hate crowds right?"
"Well, I told them that I was going for the washroom, and instead I took the chance to come here! Isn't that great?" Haru replied energetically, as if hoping to get praises for doing so.
Yuki bit her lip and sighed again. She placed her palm on her forehead and rubbed her temples.
"Go to my bag and take out the boxes. I'm hungry,"
And with that, Haru sparkled with delight and immediately dug for the red and black boxes.
But the gesture of running away from attention for her was heart warming. Yuki looked at her brother, her eyes softening from her usual glare.
She raked her hand through her silky hair and sat opposite of Haru.
With amazing food prepared in front of them, within a second, they were already working down the food. But with a sudden boom, the wall beside them cracked open, leaving a figure standing amidst of the rubble.
