**Harleys POV**
"Hi, are you by any chance Mrs. Dent?" I ask and the lady that I had previously met at the front desk smiles.
"Why yes I am! Do you have your test done?" She asks and I nod while smiling and hand it to her.
"Sorry to bother you but I was just wondering, when should I get my results?" I ask in the most polite way that I know.
"Well, we like to talk in person to keep that personal feel to school because we like to be very connected to our students. But! Instead of driving home and driving back another time, you could hang out here and we'll get it to you soon enough." She explains.
"Alright, I think I'll just wait then. Thank you!" I say and she smiles, getting up and going into a door next to her desk and I take a seat in one of the chairs in the front.
After a while of just bouncing my leg and sitting way back in my chair, I decide it's time to take that smoking break. I look at the map of the school which is on the wall next to her desk and go to find the cafeteria. Once I find it, I push open one of the big metal doors and I'm hit with the sound of 200 kids all in one room. I almost forgot what that sounded like. I walk along the side of the wall to stay out of the chaos until I find a door to the kitchen. Once I get in, someone immediately starts yelling at me but an older lady with short orange hair soon walks over.
"What's going on?"
"Sorry, I'm new. Well, I'm going to be new next week and I've just been sitting here all day and I just needed a cigarette. Sorry I asked Mrs. Dent and she said there was a spot behind the cafeteria and I couldn't find one so I was just coming here to ask, I didn't mean to do something wrong."
"So you're new?" She asks, seemingly mad. I just nod my head.
"Well, so is Linda here. The place to smoke is out the loading dock, I'll show you the way." She says as she leads the way and I smile, thanking her.
"I'm Patty by the way. If you need to smoke, ask for Patty." she says, shaking my hand a few feet away from the door.
"Thanks so much." I smile. I shove it open and start to pull out my cigarettes right away.
"Too many people." I mumble as I push my hair behind my shoulders.
"I know." Says a voice behind me which causes me to quickly turn around.
"Oh my god." I say, putting my hand on my heart once I realize it's just a normal boy.
"Sorry for the scare, I just couldn't disagree with you." he says, holding a half done cigarette. I nod and take out my pack, putting it between my lips and lighting it.
"You smoke?" He asks, putting the cigarette to his lips . His dark hair is messy and barley styled and he has the most blue eyes I've ever seen.
"No I just came out here to sit with the ashes and breath it in second hand." I say sarcastically, blowing out a large breath of smoke and he throws his head back even though he only laughed lightly.
"I've never seen you before." He says, looking back down at me and smiling.
"Because I don't go here." I say and he looks at me with confusion. "Well, I will be next week so, don't worry." I say.
"Ah, so you're a new comer." he says. "Welcome to Thunderridge! Known nation wide as the home of the longhorns!" He says, faking enthusiasm. "You know they tell me we're pretty good at football." He says nonchalantly, leaning up against the wall like he was when I first came out here. He looks ahead and puts the cigarette between his lips again.
