Who am I?

So that’s my story of The Curse of the Twenties in my family.

And I know what some of you are thinking, because I’ve shared this last part in smaller detail before.

I said in the beginning this was a true story, and it is. My name is Veronica and I’m otherwise known as vovnix on Wattpad.

I wanted to share this story, my story, because I’ve had many fans and readers share their story with me and I wanted to let them know what I’ve gone through because there are lessons that people won’t know or understand until they go through it. I hope that by reading my experiences that some of you can learn from them and become a bigger person than I was, and some of my family, in the decisions that you make.

I didn’t write this for sympathy or praise. In fact this was by far the most difficult thing I have ever written and probably will ever be. It’s left me wide open to judgement and criticism but I’m bigger than to accept such judgements... and now you know why.

This doesn’t seem like a happy ending to my story, but it is. I’m happy and what’s more is that my daughter and fiancé are happy along with me.

I want to finish this short story by saying Never, ever, ever be afraid to ask for help. Help is out there and it only takes one person to change someone’s life.
