Hey Guys! So, I'm knew! And if your reading this please continue to do so. I have a great idea for this book! I have the plot all written down and everything! (: This book is kind of based on my life...but not all of it is true. I do put some things in here that actually happened in my life so, don't make fun! Lmao, anyways, I'm usually a lot more happy and funny, but like I said....I'm knew so bare with me. I have to get to know everyone and see if they are all nice and cool before I show my own niceness and coolness..... <----that was laammme. Lol

Autumn
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
"Ugh, shut up!" I said to myself. I turn over to see 5:00 glowing in red. "Screw it, I'm sleeping till 5:30" I mumble against my pillow. I reach over and slam the 'snooze' button and instantly relax.
Right when I was falling into the dark black pit of sleep.... "Autumn! Are you awake?!" My mother screamed. "Yeah!" I yelled back trying to cover up the sleepiness in my voice. I roll on my back and try to gather up the courage to get up. About two minutes later... "Autumn Mackz! I don't hear you getting ready!" My mom suddenly screamed making me jump. "It's breakfast time....so make my breakfast!"
She said something else but I drowned her out by covering my head up with my pillow.
"Please let me get through this day without any complications..." I mumble to no one in particular.
I turn over and reach up to turn on my lamp. The sudden brightness in my very dark room, made my eyes hurt. The dim light from the lamp made my room look even more eerie then it was when there was no light at all considering I had no windows and didn't have any sunlight.
I sit up from the mattress that was on the floor, which I call my bed, and look at the alarm clock that was laying on the ground next to the lamp by my bed. 5:50 now glowed red. "I guess I slept long enough...." I grabbed the one hair tie that I have that was hanging from the 5 dollar lamp and threw my hair up into a messy bun. I get up and walk over to the broken mirror hanging on the wall and scoped my body for bruises.
Wherever my bruises were decides what I wear for that day. I turn to see my side. I lightly touch the purple and blue mark that was right on my ribcage. It was the size of a fist. I winced when I touched it a little to hard. I took my hand off it quickly and looked at the rest of my body.
When I found no other bruises I smiled in victory. Only one bruise to hide today! Yay!
I turned to my small closet and fished around for a cute outfit. I wanted to look pretty today. I took out an outfit I haven't worn yet. I stuffed it in the back of my closet right when I got home from the garage sale that I bought it from. I never got the chance to wear it because it always showed the bruises. I hoped that hiding it in the back of my closet that my mom wouldn't find it.
And so far, she hasn't.
I held up the dress to me and looked at myself in the mirror. I think another reason I never wore this is because I'm not pretty enough for it. No one should wear such a pretty outfit unless their worthy to wear it. and I was defiantly not worthy.
The outfit I held in my hands was a dress. A dress of the color of sky blue that was strapless and came down to right above my knees. It had tiny pink and white flowers scattered across the patter. I bought cute white wedges to go along with it. They were about three inches tall which made me about 5'8.
I shook my head and hurriedly stuffed it back in my closet. I was hoping that one day I will feel pretty enough to wear it. Today was certainly not that day. But I couldn't help but hope that, that day will come soon.
I looked back at myself in the mirror. I couldn't help but frown when I saw the girl in the mirror staring back at me. I looked at her pale face first. The only color on her face was the purple bags under her eyes and the light shade of pink of her lips. Don't forget her freckles that were lightly sprinkled across her cheeks and nose. I looked at her very wavy, light brown hair that came down below her shoulders. I smiled and looked at my green and blue braces that lined along my teeth.
UGLY, was all I could think of. Who would want to be around me when I looked like this. The only thing I could think of that was halfway decent was my eyes. They were light blue with gold and green sprinkled along the iris.
"AUTUMN!!!!!"
I jumped away from the mirror clutching my chest. My heart was beating rapidly as I tried calming down. I looked at my clock. 6:00 was shown. "Shit." I said while I turned back to my closet. I grabbed my blue tank top and my black jacket. I took of my night gown and threw it on the ground.
I put on the tanktop. I grabbed my black skinny jeans that was laying neatly on the end of the mattress and stuffed my legs into them. I grabbed the brush that I had hidden underneath the mattress and ran to the mirror. I pulled out the pony tie and yanked the brush through my hair.
After I finished getting all the knots out of my hair I put the brush back and went to the broke wooded plank in the corner of my room. I lifted up the plank of wood and found my concealer. I walked to my mirror again and lifted up my shirt and dabbed some of the skin colored liquid on the bruise.
After I finally covered it up I slid my shirt back down and dabbed some of the liquid on the bags under my eyes. When I finished I ran back to the wooden plank and threw the tube of makeup After setting the plank of wood where it belonged I looked around the room to see if anything was out of place.
If my mom found the hair brush or the concealer I would be beaten.
When found nothing out of place I grabbed my jacket and ran to the tiny bathroom down the hall. I grabbed my toothbrush and toothpaste from the large hole in the wall next to the shower. I wasn't aloud to have any of these things so I usually hide them. Hence the wooden plank and hole in the wall. I brushed my teeth quickly listening for footsteps just in case mom came down here.
After I finished I ran to the kitchen. I sighed when I smelled cigarette smoke coming from the living room and heard the T.V. Mom wasn't up. Well, she was probably awake but, she wasn't up and walking around. That's good. She's just waiting for breakfast. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a skillet from the bottom cabinet.
I'm already regretting the day before it began.
