"Mama? Mama?" asks a skinny pale child. "Mama? Mama?"

The child runs further down the road, tear drops pouring from the sky above. The low pitter-patter of the rain, mixed with his frantic steps cause a rather strange sound. A small black car pulls up, when the boy is at the tracks. The driver pulls down the window, she was beautiful, just like his mama. But she had blood red hair that fell to her shoulders; mama had blond hair that fell to her mid back, she had green eyes like a cat; mama's were dark blue, but she and mama were both tall, and pale with a skinny waist, and high cheek bones. She was lovely, but she was not mama, he had to keep running, till he found mama, he had to find mama.

"Hello," says the pretty lady "Are you lost love?"

"No, but my mama is." I reply shivering, and drenched in the rain. "can you help me find mama?"

The pretty woman hesitates, but replies with a determined look in her eyes, "yes love, I will help you find your mama, now then climb into the car so we can be off."

"Thank you miss, mama will love to meet you, you're beautiful, just like my mama" I say in a sing-song voice as he climbs in the front seat. "Mama never lets me ride up front, but I'm old enough don't you think miss?"

"Yes love your old enough, now where exactly did you lose your mama?"

"Right here miss, on the tracks, you see a large train was coming, and mama got me out of the car, she told me to run away as fast as I could, but mama she couldn't leave she just stood there and keep screaming at me to run, run away fast."

The woman looks sad, and starts crying as I tell her the story of how I lost mama. She whimpers and wipes the tears from her eyes. "How old are you baby?"

"I'm eleven and three-quarters miss." I reply confused, why I this lady asking my age if she said she would take me to find mama. "miss, why are you crying?"

She just shakes her head, and chokes back a sob, then pulls my face to hers and stares into my eyes till she starts crying again. "no, no, no, no." she whispers "it can be, no it can't be it's impossible"

"Miss?" I say getting worried

"What's your name love? Please tell me your full name."

"My name.. it's... Christopher, Michael, Louis."

The pretty lady looks at me horrified like I just cussed, and said something rude to her family on Christmas. She grabs my arm and pulls me onto her lap, holding me and crying all over again.

"Christopher.... My baby boy... but it can't be baby it can't be."

I look closer at the woman and notice her eyes aren't green at all, there deep blue. A pain hits my chest as if I just got tackled, and my rib cage stomped in.

"Mama?" I wiper and push her hair back behind her ear. "Mama, I thought I lost you, oh mama I couldn't find you anywhere, you weren't at home, you weren't at the market, mama I'm so glad I found you."

Mama tenses up and clings closer to me. She looks down at me like my dog does when it sees a rat. She starts sobbing again and pushing my hair back hugging me tighter and tighter.

"Christopher, my baby, how on earth are you here?"

"What do you mean mama?"

"Christopher baby, you're....... Dead."

"No I'm not mama, I'm right here..."

"No, Christopher, you died I saw the train hit you, all the blood all the flesh, all the gore, baby mama screamed at you to get off the tracks and run away as fast as you could. Baby your jeans they got caught on the tracks, you didn't live baby... there was no way possible you could've lived."

"But mama... I'm right here... how could I be dead if I'm right here."

"I don't know baby... but you're not real, you're not alive, baby you're dead."

I shake in her arms and bite down on the back of my hand, how could I be dead if I'm here talking to mama, how could I be alive if mama thinks I'm dead?

"Mama...."

"Yes baby?"

"I never want to lose you again mama... So I'm taking you with me."

"Where baby?"

I grab her hand and slide out of the car, pulling her onto the tracks with me. "To heaven mama, I'm taking you with me. I cant stand not having you around mama."

She holds onto my tiny hand with her own adult one as the train comes, loud and its whistle getting louder. The light getting brighter and brighter.

"Baby, mama loves you." she says as she pulls me into her arms in a mama's hug, then she picks me up and waits. The train hits to fast to feel, the only thing I could hear or see, was the screeching of metal on metal, mama screaming, and the wheels of the train. After the train goes away I look around, and stand up. Mama is nowhere in a solid form, her blood stains the tracks, her bones crushed and fragments are everywhere, her skull is in a small pile of dust and blood red hair.

"Mama.... You lost me again mama... but i'll come find you mama."

"MAMA?..MAMA?" a skinny pail boy screams on the tracks covered in blood, and gore, but no one else is there to hear or see him. And then comes the last train he will ever see. It hits him hard and kills him instantly. A mother and her boy are seen every night on those tracks, and always will be, but never at the same time. He is still searching, still searching.
