9 and 5 went inside the tunnel, jumped on the pieces of rubble with oil surrounding them, and looked around to find the two prisoners. 9 saw a cage, nudged 5, and showed it to him; inside that cage were the two hostages, 2 and 14. The two stitchpunks went up to the cage, only to see 2 and 14 inside, not moving. "2?" 5 said as he nudges both of them, "14?" He sighed, and bowed his head in sorrow.
Suddenly, the two captured stitchpunks woke up, and looked at 9 and 5. "I knew you would come." 2 smiled. "you guys are awesome!" 14 said in a whispering voice. 9 looked up at them, happy to see them still alive. "I thought-" 5 said, but was quietly shushed by 2, who pointed at the beast. The beast was digging through pieces of rubble and scraps, but looked up, only to see 9 using his staff to open the cage. The beast jumped up to the cage and let out a big roar. It then proceeded to push the cage and it flew a good distance, then did the same to 9 and 5. The beast came closer and closer to them, and 9 used his staff to blind it, but was pushed away by the beast. He got up, as 5 was helping 2 and 14 out of the cage.
