From book to book

The begining

Today August 12 was the day it all happened...

"Leo, please wake up. You're going to be late." A female voice calls me; slowly I open my eyes to see my mother sitting on the corner of my bed smiling "Good morning." I say stretching while slowly sitting up, she softly chuckles "it's your first day of school, Leo." She says with her usual calm voice getting up from where she was sitting to walk towards the door opening it as she walks out of my room. I also get up from my bed, starting to walk out of my room towards the bathroom to take a quick shower.

Walking to the bathroom I suddenly hear my mother calling me "Leo! Alex called he said that he would come here soon so you both can go together to school." She says loud enough so I could hear it "Okay!" I told her just as loudly. Getting inside of the bathroom I can see my reflection "Jesus I look like crap..." I say to myself as I can see my messy blond hair and the bags under my eyes, I start to take off my red t-shirt, black sweatpants, and my black boxers as I enter the shower and turns on the faucet as I can feel the hot water hitting my pale body. Letting out a sigh I take the soap and start to clean myself.

Turning off the faucet I take my toothpaste opening the lid and squirting toothpaste out to my toothbrush as I start to brush my teeth while taking my towel and wrapping it around my waist, then I spit out the toothpaste from my mouth, taking a cup of water rinsing and spitting it all out. Putting the toothbrush where it belong I then open the door leaving the bathroom walking towards my room; opening the door I go to my closet taking out a random gray shirt and a pair of black ripped pants, afterwards I go to the drawer taking out a pair of red boxers. Start to put on my clothes I then get my black converse and walk out of the room, rapidly going down the stairs as I go to the kitchen to see no other than my mother "Alex called again." She says looking at me with toast in hand "And?" I ask taking the toast that was in the plate "He says he'll come in 5 minu-" she was cut off by the doorbell "That must be him." She says walking towards the front door opening it to reveal my best friend since childhood, Alex.

Alex walks in with his usual smile "Good Morning Mrs. Orally" He says with a huge grin as he then looks at my way "Ready?" he asks me. Nodding I grabbed my backpack from the chair and walked toward him to give him a hug "Long time no see." I say smiling while breaking the hug and walking out of the house with him right behind me "yeah" he says chuckling while looking at the sky "I wonder how this year is going to be." He says smiling while I glanced at him and shrugged "Boring like always most probably." I say looking ahead with a sigh feeling slightly tired.

Some minutes passed and we both just got there, Alex saw some people and he waved at them "Hey guys!" he shouted running towards them; I just followed him as I looked at everyone in the group "Okay everyone, this is my best friend Leo." Alex says later turning towards me "Leo these are some of my friends" he says smiling patting the shoulder of a really tall slim guy with brown hair and green eyes "This is Mark" Alex says as Mark then smiled at me "Nice to meet you." Mark says in a really low voice smiling at me; Alex then grabbed the shoulders of a short girl with long, brown, wavy hair and yellow green eyes "this is Mel, mark's twin sister" Alex says smiling at Mel "Hello." She say low shy voice; later he pats a really short girl's head "This small cutie here is Gabi." He says smiling as he pats her head while she puffs her cheeks and she starts to lightly blush "I am not small or cute!" Gabi says as she then softly elbows Alex's stomach and he starts to chuckle "Okay, okay." He says walking towards another girl with long black hair that was staring at her phone the whole time "And this..." Alex says taking her phone and pushing her away while she tries to get it in an aggressive way "Alex! Give me my damn phone back!" she says in a loud irritated tone of voice "Is Ive." He finish his statement smirking in a mischievous manner as he puts her phone in one of his pocket, Ive then bites him making him yelp as she reaches for her phone "That's what you get for taking my phone away from me." She says looking back at her phone; later he pokes another girl's cheek, she was slightly tanner than the others, she had long curly dark brown hair, and light teal green eyes "this is Belinda" he says as she then looks at me "Hey." She says plainly; afterwards he walked to a skinny tall boy with long black straight hair, and purple eyes "This is Angel." He says patting his back as he looks down shyly "h-hi..." he stutters shyly. "Hey." I say with a monotone voice as I look at everyone. We all then started to walk inside of the school.
