Chapter 9

My alarm clock is going off and I groan and turn it off and get up.

I fucking hate school. I get dressed and I hear my phone ringing. I am confused and run over to it and see that matt is trying to FaceTime me.

OH SHIT!!

I check the mirror really quick and I look good. I lay on my bed on my stomach and answered.

My face lightens up when I see him. I can feel it.

M- Hi Emily

I smile and wave "hey matt"

M- whatcha doin?
He's smiling really big and it looks like he just woke up. it's so cute.
E- bout to go to school
I groan
E- you should come save me from this hell
I smile and he laughs
M- where do you live?
E- Houston Texas.
He nods
M- I miss you.
my face gets so red and I don't know what to say. I look up and see him looking at me
E- I miss you too

"Mattyyyyyy I'm hereeeeeeee" I hear a girl say and she's giggling.

Matts face drops and eyes widen.
Then he smiles and says "Hey tiff" they talk for a bit. flirting. I roll my eyes.

"umm... Matt I'm gonna go..." I say and his head snaps to me and he looks guilty and he's about to say something it I hang up.

I get up and walk downstairs and get my stuff and go get in my car. I feel my phone buzz but I ignore it.

I just drive to school.

I get to school and everyone is staring at me.

*3rd period*

I'm sitting in class bored as fuck. Miley is sitting beside me and she's just gossiping.
The intercom comes on and says "Emily Newman is being checked out"

I am so confused. I grab my stuff and everyone tells me goodbye. I just put a peace sign up and walk to the office and see Matt standing there smiling.

No.

I walk in "why are you here??"

"I know you're excited to see your brother who just got in from the army!" he says and I roll my eyes and walk out of school and he follows behind me.

I went to my car.

"I thought you missed me?" he says and I turn to see him.

"of course I did but you just like forgot you were talking to me this morning!" I say and he sighs.

"That's my friend Tiffany." I nod

he pulls me to him and looks at my eyes.

"please kiss me...." he whispers after staring at each other.

"I can't.. I'm dating someone Matt....." I say truthfully.

he sighs and pulls me into him hugging me tightly and whispers "friends?"

I smile and nod "of course"

We get in my car and we drive to the ice cream shop and we have a great time.

We go to the mall and hang out and joke around.

"Who are you dating?" he finally asks and I become quiet.

I look at him "Harry"
