It's two am. Why am I awake?
Well, to put it simply, I've started my new story.
Those of you who read Picture Perfect liked it, and as the writer, I did at first too. I thought it'd be an ideal start for a side story. However, I soon got very disinterested with the idea and quit on it.
So this is my new book, Overtime. Completely unrelated to the Mine series in any way.
Part of what inspired me to make a new story was getting the chance to explore a different plot than in the Mine trilogy. Don't get me wrong, I'm in love with what I've got planned for the series, but sometimes it's nice to get a break from the usual.
Other than the plot, the main characters are very different. Maybe I'm the only one noticing the subtle changes. I think Brinley is a lot more outgoing and witty than Elyse. Elyse is more intelligent. Both are beautiful (I mean if you've seen Kimmy Hays or Acacia Clark...Come on now haha) I think Elyse knows it more. (Probably because Aaron tells her so often! hahahaha) Appearance wise, as I mentioned, they're both gorgeous. The features are completely different, though. Elyse is a brunette, Brinley is a blonde. Elyse has dark brown eyes, Brinley has a pale blue. Oh yeah, and Brinley has braces (with clear brackets so they don't stand out as much!)
There's a ton more than I could go into, but as I've said before, it's 2 am and I'm tired as hell.
So, anywho, I present to you, my side story, Overtime. And when I say side, I do mean side. This will not in any way replace Finally Mine as my current project. In fact, Finally Mine will probably be updated more frequently than Overtime. That's my main priority. My timeframe to finish Overtime would be in the short break between Finally Mine and Forever Mine (the last book of the Mine trilogy). So do not be disheartened.
