The stadium was filled with students when the name "Sani Del Rosia" echoed through the air. A girl with fiery amber eyes gazed at the boy, who had a toned body with bronze skin and hair that cascaded down his face in neat dreadlocks.
His jet black hair hung loosely on his shoulders, with the tips dyed a vibrant crimson red. As he looked back at her with his golden eyes, she could feel him peering into her soul. The boy wore a badge of black and red thorns with a wild rose at the base, slightly hidden by his hair. His light burgundy jacket was buttoned up, with the final button at the top left undone. He paired it with solid black uniformed pants that hung slightly off his shins, and all-black low gelled shoes, which were typical for the school's uniform. The young man's eyes slowly scanned the stadium until they locked onto the girl who was yelling his name, and he reluctantly met her gaze.

""Why, Maria El Dagu, do you insist on battling with someone unknown to you? You're one of the finest fighters in this school, yet you choose to lower yourself to fight me," Sani said, meeting her gaze with his golden eyes.
"You don't know your place in this academy. You trespassed against me and my honor, and you have yet to offer forgiveness," Maria replied, locking her amber eyes onto Sani's.
Sani felt a nerve twitch in his hand, but a smile danced across his face. "From what I recall, you bumped into me, and when I grabbed you for an apology, you became hostile," he said, shrugging.
"Do you swear on that with your life? Would you dare wager that for your life?" Maria challenged him.
Sani lazily pointed at Maria and said, "Well, if we're placing gambles, how about you give up your position if I win? Or are you so uncertain of your abilities that you'll lose?"
The crowd gasped at Sani's bold remarks against the school's War Maiden. Maria's eyes held sparks of delight as she replied, "I'm going to enjoy breaking your crude body."

That is fine i swear it by our creed. With elegance she rose her right hand

We have been forsaken
Demons attack
No longer do we need faith
We have our own form of protection
Our weapons
The angel race has died out
Ezekiel being the bravest have our founder his greatest creation
Oblivion weapons the might to fight the demons the academy will not stop until we're free of them.

Sani let out a deep breath, feeling the weight of the fight on his chest. He wasn't particularly keen on battling the girl, but she had issued a challenge to intimidate humans, and his ego wouldn't let him back down. The entire fight had been a test of his skills, and he had risen to the challenge.

"I feel the same way," he said, shaking his head in annoyance.
A bright green barrier suddenly appeared at the ends of the stadium, shining brightly before becoming transparent. Its purpose was to prevent any stray attacks from harming the audience members.

The girl formed an X with her arms in front of her body, and black particles flowed to her fingertips.
In an instant, they materialized into two butterfly swords with polished silver hilts that were short and wing-shaped. The hilts had a rounded grip area, and the blades were short and black with intricate etchings.
The distance between the two fighters was approximately 100 yards.

"Maria, I refuse to hit you. Honestly, I've never been too good at apologizing to women. You sort of are a fiery bun-" Sani's words were cut off as the girl appeared in front of him in less time than he had anticipated.
"Oh, you're fast!" Sani exclaimed before the girl delivered a swift kick to his abdomen, sending him flying into the barrier. The impact knocked the wind out of his body, and he slowly crumpled to his knees. As he looked up, he saw the girl's smirk.

"Are you done after my initial charge? Winning this challenge is going to be a breeze," the girl taunted, and a laugh of confidence escaped her throat. The stadium erupted in laughter.
After Sani regained his focus, he slowly got to his feet, a small smirk on his face. His eyes seemed to glow in the cool stadium air. "I'm not sure you'll be able to touch me again after that kick," he said, his expression exuding complete confidence.
