"Shane..."

"You...remember me?"

Tony swung his arms around me. He hugged me tight. My eyes started to water. I flop my head on his shoulder and sob. All my feelings from before came rushing back. I hated and loved this feeling. I didn't know what to feel. But I needed it. I sobbed harder. My finger nails dug into his back.

"Shh...its okay, I'm here."

"Where were you when I needed you?" I muttered. He pulled away and held my head up. He kissed my forehead. Then he gave me a faint smile. He seemed so trusting. My eyes grew into an evergreen shade from cring. His smile faded.

"I don't know where I've been, But I do know that I will never leave you again." He sounded rather serious. I wasn't sure to trust him yet. I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Really Shane, I promise."

"I know, Tony...you always have been a man of your word, haven't you?"

"Not entirely...we should go and...um..." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Talk, I guess."

I nodded. We walked into the avengers meeting room. Tony closed the door behind us as I walked in. He leaned up on the door. I stand there as we scan each others body. We both sighed. An akward slince did fall upon us. Tony was the one to break it.

"Well...I will admit this...if you were my birth daughter...you wouldn't be has flawless as you are now. As matter of fact, you be full of flaws if you were my birth daughter."

"I don't see how both of those are true."

"You're kidding me right? You have invented weapons that have changed the entire view of mass weapons forever. Plus, you don't let people steal them. Thats the mistake I made. You just use them on the people you are told to kill. Like Clint."

"Whats so great about killing mobsters with my own weapons?"

"I just think it's pretty badass." He smiled at me and I smiled back. "You know, you should meet everyone. They would love you! Like how they love me!"

"Really? Nick Fury told me you get on everybodys last nerve." I giggled.

"Whatever..." he mumbled. I snikered as we walked back to AVENGERS HQ. The door slide open once more. The rest of the avengers were standing up with their arms crossed. Also with a hint of anger on thier faces.

"What the hell, Tony?" said a redhead on the far left side of the room.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys?" Tony asked puzzled. I knew it was about me. Who am I kidding? I just walked in out of the blue, disracting everyone from the tesseract. I know when I'm not wanted. I've dealing with unwantedness my whole life.

"Why didn't you tell me you had a daughter, Tony?" Steve asked rather tense. Tony stepped closer to Steve. His big oak eyes meet with Steve's baby blue ones. Then Tony looked down ashamed. I stepped infront of Tony. I gazed up at Steve's eyes.

"Look, I-I know shouldn't be here and I'm sorry. But I just had to come here. I needed to see him and meet you. So, please don't be mad at Tony."

Tony and Steve stood there shocked. The redhead snorted at me. But I don't know why. What did she have against me? I certainly don't remember her face from the missions I've had before hand. So what deal could she possibly have with me?

"Did you have to kill man named Dean Blackberg?" the redhead asked bluntly. I remember that. It was in Chicago. On Christmas eve. A man by the name of Loki called the hit. But Blackberg isn't a mobster. I checked his backround, he had nothing wrong in his files. Well...maybe a few risky deals with a couple of lone sharks. But that was all.

"Yeah, I-I did. Back in Chicago, but my mission failed. I couldn't kill him. Some girl came from behind and knocked me out before I could do it." I admitted. She looked at me puzzled. She opened her mouth then qucikly shut it. She walked closer to me.

"Did Loki call the hit?"

"Yes...why does it matter?"

"Loki is the one we are looking for..."

"I see...well thats no surpirse to me."

"Did he requset any kind weapon at all?"

"Yes. Guns. Thats enough qusetions."

Tony glanced evily at me. He cocked an eyebrow. So did Steve. Tony crossed his arms and tapped his foot slowly. I sighed lowly. My eyes lifted up towards him. Tony's face softened. I have cute puppy dog eyes. After all these years, Tony could still give into those eyes. Tony sighed in defeat.

"Shane...Natasha wants you to meet someone." Tony sighed. I stared at him. Who's Natasha?

The Redhead walked up to me.

"Follow me..."

I nodded. We walked down the hallway. I was nervously shaking. What have they found out about me? Natasha glanced at me. She can probably smell fear. I gulped hard. She cocked an eyebrow at me. Crap. She CAN smell fear.

"You seem nervous, Shane." She stated as we continued to walk. I fiddled with my thumbs. She was right. Plus, she could see right through me. I hated being an open book. Especially when someone who is trained to twist and turn people's feelings is reading it.

"Um...yeah I-I guess you're right."

"Don't be, we're just meeting Josh. He's an assassin. Like you."

"Wait, how did you-"

"I searched your files."

"I see...how do you know Josh?"

"Well...He's my son." She answered as we reached the door. The door slide open. I see a guy standing in the doorway. He was beautiful. He had soft teal eyes. Rather toned body as well. Kind of tall too. On top of that, he had spiky honey brown hair. I've got a thing for spikes.

"Hey mom!" He gazed down on me. "And who is this cutie?" He winked and I smirked. Natasha glared at him.

"Mom, I'm just kidding!" He teased. He leaned down and whispered "Hey Shane..."

What? He knows me? I don't remember him at all. Natasha surely didn't tell him. I stare at him puzzled and shocked.

"You...know me?"

He grinned slyly. A slight twinkle in his eye.

"Yes. Yes I do."
