Blake's POV:

As I walked down the cramped hallways of Clydesdale Middle School, I thought about home. It was so much easier living there. I was a good student back then! I knew all of the material, and most importantly, I knew how to speak! Here, I am now, and I'm just a shy, little, idiot! What kind of person can't understand people at my age? Why did we need to move?!?! I know it was for fathers' job, and I know I can't change that but... It was so, so, much easier! Suddenly, I snapped out of my thoughts. Someone was calling me. What was her name again? Oh yeah! I remember now! She was that nice girl named Alice who had offered to teach me English! She was so nice to offer that. I know I can be hard to work with at times. So far, all of the kids here have just obsessed over me, and not actually talked to me, said hi, or anything like that. Alice and her friend Brooklyn are the only ones who seem to actually care about me. They are both so nice. I don't know why all of those other girls are obsessed with me though, I'm only a normal person. I'm just as imperfect as any of them, maybe even less. Alice seems like the smart, silent type, and Brooklyn seems like the sweet flirty type. Brooklyn is sort of annoying with all these gestures, but it's still really nice of her. At least they try to talk to me... when I finally got to art; I quietly sat in my chair. Art went by pretty fast, because Alice and I were talking the whole time. I didn't know she could speak my language! She told me told me what we were doing, and I listened closely. I wish she was in all of my classes. If she was, I wouldn't always be so confused. Whilst we where chatting away, she told me to be ware of Nina. She told me that Nina was the school bully, and was very mean. She also told me to stay away from the rest of her posse. I replied, "sure, now that you've told me what they have done to you. No problem, that was really mean of her." Wow I can't believe Nina would get her kicked out of chorus, and make her hate singing, forever. That's just horrible! She told me that she used to love to sing, before she came to this school. She also told me that she loved school, before she got into 5th grade. That was when her whole life changed. Apparently, her 5th grade teacher would always yell at her, and tell her to go to other classrooms. I actually feel really bad for her, it seems that her school life has been very hard since then. She told me that the other day she saw that teacher, and waved on impulse. After that, I bet she regretted it.
