Meeting A Dream Face To Face

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Joe, who lived in a small town of Mount Vernon, Washington. He was not just like any other boy, he didn't go to public school, he was homeschooled. He was at home most of the time, playing outside or finding things to do inside. He had lots of good friends, he met his friends from a homeschool co-op that he started going to when he was 4 years of age.
His friends were awesome, they were always there for him, at all times. He never wanted to leave them, and he never wanted them to leave him. He was loyal and honest to his friends, he always did his best to always be there for them in their good times and their bad times. He never gave up on any of his friends, but eventually he knew that people will leave his life, even if he likes it or not.

He eventually started liking girls, you could pretty much call him a little *romeo* in search of his dream girl. Even at an early age, he would always dream about meeting that *perfect* girl, his *dream girl*. He was never in a relationship at an early age, but he did show his feelings for the girls that he liked or had a *crush* on. He would do his best to show his feelings, even if the girl he likes, doesn't like him back. He never thought about trying to change them, or thinking that hey will change, because he knew that they were beautiful just they way they were. Imperfections and all, everyone is amazing just the way they are. His heart was all over the place, he liked girls left and right, until one day he found that you cannot like every girl you see, you must stay with one girl. Once he thought about this, instead of investing time and love in multiple girls, he would put everything that he was, into showing his affection for one girl. This eventually led to lots of scars in his heart, even if he wasn't in an *official* relationship with a girl.

Joe, had feelings for a girl named Krista, in one of his classes at his home school co-op. He though that she was beautiful, funny, and amazing, but he was too shy to show much feelings for this girl. This girl was his first 'love', but love doesn't last sometimes. She eventually moved away to California, and it made him really sad. He never got enough guts to be able to show how much he felt for her. He lost all of his chances to show her and he regretted it. He thought to himself "I will wait for her, I will always be here, and someday I will go over to California and explain my feelings for her". This plan didn't work out, eventually he lost feelings for her and ended up not talking to her for a few years. He was scarred from this, he didn't like himself for giving up on someone that he loved, he was scarred and sad because his love moved away. They were never a couple, but Joe always over thought things and pictured them as a couple in his head.

After about a year of, Krista moving, Joe ended up moving across the world for his Dad's job. His dad works for Boeing, a big, airplane company. Boeing moved him and his family, across the world. It was almost as if he went to another planet, he didn't know anyone, he didn't know anything about the area, and he could not speak the language or understand what people were saying to him. He had to learn everything again, almost as if he was going back to his old days before joining his home school co-op. Joe, and his family were only suppose to live there for 6 months, but there time was extended. They ended up staying there for two years... TWO YEARS?! That is a long time.

Life was different for Joe, he had to adapt to the environment and he had to become comfortable while living in a new place and not knowing anything about everything. He lived in an apartment with his family for their first house. It was in a small neighborhood, but it was nothing like the neighborhood he had back in Mount Vernon, Washington. He had to find shops for food to eat, he had to find places to go, and he had to find people to talk to. He felt like a total stranger to everyone there. He became really lonely and he had no one to talk to, except for himself and his family. He didn't make any friends because he was homeschooled, it was hard to make friends when he isn't out of the house and among people (especially if he cannot speak the same language). It took 10 months before he made any friends. Even though he made some new friends, they were nothing like the friends that he had back home in, Washington. Even there, he still had that dream of meeting his dream girl. He still had love to give, even if he had a scar in his heart.
