Was this girl INSANE ? First , she bumped me and buried her head on my chest and CRIED as if we were close. Not like I didn't mind , though , I wasn't some heartless bastard who'd push her away . But hey , she didn't even ask for my consent if she could just hug me and cry all she wanted. We didn't even know each other !

And now , here she was , sitting on the road  (  which almost seemed flooded despite the weather .  ) , crying. Again. This girl obviously had problems , or maybe she was mentally retarded. Or high. Or drunk. Any of those options , but I was relying more on the first one.

So , I merely approached her as quick as possible , the puddles making my socks wet . Ew. I couldn't tell if these were her tears or just the rain.  Either way , it was still pretty gross. I mean , who'd want their socks completely soaked ?! No one! Unless they're high . And as soon as I get home , I earn a ticket of scolding from Luka! . . . come to think of it , she never scolds me.

Either way , maybe this girl was trying to get herself sick so she wouldn't go to school tomorrow. Ha ! I'd join her pity party if she'd let me , I didn't want to go to school either ! If that's the case , then we're alike! What are we , soulmates?! Kidding aside , that probably wasn't the reason. That was something only I would do. And I knew for sure that I was unique , no one can think the way Luki Megurine does ! 

Anywho , back to reality . As soon as I got near her and shielded her from the rain with my umbrella , I called out to blondie . " Oi , " I simply said , which seemed to get her attention in a blink of an eye. " Are you stupid , or do you simply lack a brain? "

She didn't reply . Tears were evident in her eyes which slowly began to trail her cheeks till they kiss the ground . I assume she was currently emotional , emotionally unstable , perhaps . And I knew the feeling , so I didn't want to piss her off or anything . So , I offered her my hand which she accepted and offered to take her home .  I didn't know where she lived , so I told her to guide the way . She did. The whole thing passed by in a blur , we were both utterly silent; not a word slipped off our tongues . Her scent was familiar , it was . . . Well , nice. Kinda like , um , I couldn't perfectly describe it. I don't know.

As we finally reached our destination , she muttered her ' thanks ' even though I couldn't clearly hear it . Then , she went straight to her home. That seemed to settle it .

Hey , I might be an ass with a cold heart , but I still had one. As I said before , I wasn't heartless.

I had no idea what got into me. I didn't know why'd I accepted soap man's offer . But I gues I was pretty tired and exhausted from having a little pity party all by myself . Going home was a better option rather than stay here and cry.

As I entered , I was immediately yelled at by no other than my cousin , Len. There was concern evident in his voice but I chose to ignore it. As always. Rinto , though , wasn't home yet. And I assume he was at some other girl's house , doing you-know-what.

As always.

I didn't want to go down and eat dinner (  for if I did , I'd have to spend time with Len. I don't want to talk to him.  ) , I decided it'd be the best if I'd just sleep this hunger off. I know it'll affect my health , but it's not like I care anyway . I already felt as if I died a while ago. It'd be better to be dead , anyway. You would no longer feel any pain.
