My name is Lincoln. No, not after "Honest Abe". Lincoln as in the girl who lives for photos and photographs lives.

I work for national geographic, traveling the world, photographing the people and places, and writing about the lives of those people.

I got an internship there straight out of college. Luckily my mentor was pretty highly ranked and allowed me to do a lot on my own. Soon enough I was hired and immediately sent off to Scotland to take pictures of the highlands. That's what I call home. Though I don't get home sick necessarily, it's a place I can think and be at peace.

The slaty air whips through my hair covering my eyes but I doesn't matter they are closed anyway. The moist grass under my shoes, the waves crashing. Calm. Serene. Happiness.

The highlands are happiness. They capture the essence of untouched beauty and serenity.

Though I loved it there, there was much more in the world that I hadn't seen. So I continued to travel to places like Nepal and India, China and Bangladesh.

This is the story of my travels, the people I meet, the pain I endure, and the love I found.
