Cassie's POV: I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring in my ear. "Wohoo first day back ughh" I said to myself and got out of bed. I went to go make sure Tawshia was awake and she was. After I checked on her I went back to my room and straightened my hair which didn't take long because it was already mostly straightened. After I straightened my hair I got dressed and Tawshia walked in. "Need help with the wings" she asked walking in. "Yes please" I said and I gave her my eyeliner and she did the little wings. I looked in the mirror and they were perfect. She was already ready and so was I. I looked at the time and it was 7:00. Neither of us wanted to eat breakfast so we went ahead and woke up Jayy. School didn't start until 7:53 but we wanted to go early to find out where we had to go and to meet some teachers. We got to the school around 7:10 and me and Tawshia climbed out of the car. Jayy pulled around and parked. "I have to sign some things" he said and we all started walking towards the doors.

Walked in and went into the office there was barely any other kids in the school yet. "Oh you must be Jayy, I'm their principle Mr. Gutts" the principal said and they shook hands. "Ok you girls can go ahead and go have fun" Jayy said handing us our sceduals and we walked out of the office. "Locker 234" I said. "Locker 236" Tawshia said back. We walked to where our lockers were they were both top lockers side by side. I looked at my sceduale to see what classes I had.

Social studies: 9:35-10:23
Algebra: 10:26-11:14
Lunch: 11:17-12:05
Study hall: 12:08-12:32
Choir: 12:35-1:30
Science: 1:33-2:14
Spanish: 2:16-3:05

I have never been in Choir before or Spanish but I loved singing and I always wanted to learn Spanish. I looked over Tawshia's scedual. "Its all the same" I said smiling. "There's a note at the bottom" she said and I looked at the bottom of my scedual.

"Oh that makes sense" I said and started putting things into my locker. We went around the school and found where all of the rooms were and when we were done it was 7:35 and people were starting to show up. People kept looking at me and Tawshia and we both understood why and then I saw a familiar face. "Landon" I mumbled. He quickly ran over to me and gave me a hug. "I missed you" he said when we finally let go. "I missed you too" I said and Tawshia was holding in her laughter. "Hey do you have any friends that go here" I asked him knowing my plan for revenge. "Ya ones right over there come on he would love to meet you two" he said and me and Tawshia followed him. "Cassie, Tawshia this is my friend Drake" Landon said and his friends jaw dropped. "You really weren't joking about them" Drake said which caused me and Tawshia to both laugh.

"Drake can I talk to you in private" I asked and he followed me to a part of the hall nobody was around. "My friend Tawshia wants to go out with you she saw you standing there and said you're really cute so when you go back over there walk up to her and say yes while smiling" I said smiling trying to hold in a laugh. "Awesome she's really pretty I would love to date her" he said and we walked back over. Tawshia the answer is yes I would love to date you" Drake said and Tawshia gave me a death glare and my face was turning bright red from trying to hold in a laugh. I knew she was going to kill me but I don't care she deserved that. The bell rang and we walked to our first class. We got there late because we had forgotten where the class was. As we walked in everyone's jaws dropped. The teacher walked up to me and Tawshia and stood there with his arms crossed. "Where are your passes" he asked us. "What" I asked. "If you don't have passes then you get a detention" he said and everyone's jaws dropped again including mine and Tawshia's. "Can we go get a pass our dad might kill us if we get a detention" Tawshia said and I nodded my head in agreement.

"Your girls parents are the same as everyone else's you get a detention" he said and looked at his seating chart. "Ok Tawshia Monroe you sit over there and Cassie Monroe you sit right by my desk" he said and we each took our seats. Tawshia was lucky she got to sit right next to the door. "Oh and Tawshia and Cassie I need to talk to you girls after class about your detentions" the teacher said and I tried not to roll my eyes so I wouldn't get in more trouble. "Ok class so to get to know each other we are going to stand up in the front when I call on you which I will go down rows and you will say you're name, age,and what your parents do and the best thing that happened to you over the Summer" he said and looked at me. "You're first" he said and I got up and went to the front of the room. "Hi I'm Cassie Monroe, I'm 14, and my dad and uncle are famous singers, and the best thing that happened over the summer was getting adopted" I said and went and sat down.

After we went through everyone it was almost time to go. "Everyone you can now talk quietly, Cassie and Tawshia please come up here" the teacher said and we walked up to his desk. Everyone stayed quiet probably because they were all eavesdropping. "Are you girls able to serve your detention Friday after school it will be for one hour" the teacher said and me and Tawshia looked at each other. "Can I text our dad real quick and make sure there isn't a concert" I asked him and he shook his head no. "Just come back and tell me tomorrow, that's all you can sit down" he said and as we walked to our seats everyone started talking and then the bel rang. Me and Tawshia met outside the door so we could stay together and we started walking down the hall. "Ok I think it was at the very end of the hall on the right" Tawshia said and we started walking really fast so we wouldn't be late again. We got to the room and we still had two minutes to spare which was nice.

The teacher walked in right as the bell rang again saying class started. She looked like she was in her 50's she had whit hair and on the inside at the bottom she had bright purple hair. I think I'm gonna like this teacher. She told everyone we could sit wherever we wanted. Me and Tawshia sat right beside each other in the front and a bunch of people tried to sit around us. "Hi guys we are going to read a book called house of the scorpion" she said and she started passing out books. It had 380 pages that wasnt too bad. That class went by really fast because all we did was read to ourselves. We went to Social Studies then Algebra and then lunch and it was time for Study hall. "You guys may go ask teachers to help them if you'd like" the study hall teacher said and me and Tawshia got up and left to ask to help. We went to the Art room because both of us love drawing. The teacher was nice and signed a note saying we could help the rest of the year we took it back to the teacher and we walked back and started helping the art teacher Mr.Rose. During our study hall he had 7th graders which was only one grade below us. A bunch of kids when they walked in looked shocked so me and Tawshia went up to each and every one of them and said hi.

After study hall it was time for Choir. Me and Tawshia practically ran there because it was clear across the school. "Hi guys my name is Mrs.Spencer and we are planning on doing a talent show in October which I'm supposed to tell you about and you can sign up here" the teacher said holding up a clip board. "We are totally singing" me and Tawshia said at the same jumping up and signing our names on the clipboard. This was going to be fun.
