I love the numbness
I love how when
You cut
The sting from the razor
Only hurts for a second
When you take pills
How you can feel
The numbness settle
Into your bones
When you drink
How the alcohol
Helps you forget your
Miseries and sorrows
I love how
You don't feel
Anything yet
You can feel
Everything
The numbness is
A good relief
But once it goes away
You find more ways
To bring it back
