Chapter 1

Sidney's POV

It was a sunny day in Australia. I don't see how people enjoy this weather. I hate it its always to hot. I was walking with my friend Sky to school. Since we both couldn't afford a car because we're broke. I was just hoping that today could actually be a good day for once. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Sky talking to me.

"Sidneydid you hear me!" she yelled

"No" looking down at my feet.

" I asked you if your going to the party next week"

" I don't know Sky I have..." before I could finish she cut me off

"Study. I know! Why do you always have to study and shit! What happened to "On our last year of high school we better have a good time and not waste time watching Netflix"

" You know exactly why tho!" ever since I have gotten put in to some honors classes and gotten a scholarship from NYC, I haven't spent a day without studying. I barely left my house anymore.

As we got closer the school you could see a group of the side of the road screaming and yelling at someone to go on.

" Lets go see whats going on" sky said.

As we got close to all the action I wasn't surprised who was fighting. None other then Luke Hemmings. I wonder what is was this time that caused him to get in a fight. Probably didn't get his weed from the guy. I would be lying if I said he looked well. It looked like Luke was trying to spelt his head open. But before he could hit him one more time, some teachers came to them and split them apart. As the they were being pulled apart the guy that got beaten started screaming. "You will regret this Hemmings," Luke responded with " IN YOUR FUCKING DREAMS ! " he tried to wiggle out of the teachers grip but the they were holding on tight. He wasn't going anywhere.

The bell had rung. Everbody was heading inside to class. I said bye to Sky and went to my locker. All I heard walking down the hall to my locker was about the fight between Luke and that guy. As I was getting my stuff out of my locker, Calum comes up to from behind and pokes me in ribs. Making me squeal. A few thinks you should know about Calum are that. First he's gay. He has been my friend since 8th grade. He has always been there for me in the best and worst time.

" Hurry up were going to be late." Calum said in a rush tone.

" I'm going. I'm going"

Calum and I have history class together. We get into class and take our seats. Mr. Jones starts going through roll call. For the first time there was a name that caught my attention.

" Luke Hemmings..........  Luke Hemmings" he said

Fuck no this cant be happening.
