"When is ur graduation party Maria?" Anna asked as we head towards my car to my house.
"All I know is you are helping me with the party." We start to head to my car and then to my house to plan for the party. I am thinking it should be a Friday night, with some friends from high school.
We get to the car, and when I turn on the radio to the country station "house party" by Sam hunt is on
We'll have a house party
We don't need nobody
Turn your TV off
Break that boom box out
We'll wake up all the neighbors til
the whole block hates us
And the cops show up and shut us down
If you're gonna be a homebody
We're going to have a house party...
By the time the song ends, we arrive at my house and see that my mom has her ford focus in the driveway with the neighbors son, Brendan.
I get out of the car with Anna. "Hey Brendan, what are u doing here?"
"I am waiting for my mom to get going. I have to be somewhere in 15 min."
"Where do you have to go?" I question him.
"None of your business" he snaps.
"If you want to go in you can."
"Nah, but can you tell my mom to hurry up?"
"Sure, Ok". As Anna and I walk into the house, Brendan's mom, Sarah, was walking out.
"Hey mrs. Dun"
"Oh hey Maria, your mom wants to talk to you about graduation. I think its about the party?"
"Oh yea Thanks. See you later mrs. Dun"
We walk into the house and find my mom in the kitchen making some salod for dinner.
"Hi mom im home. I brought Anna with me."
"Hey, glad that you are home. Just intime for some dinner. I have to talk to you after though about this party. And Anna would you like to stay for dinner as well?"
"sure I would. Thanks Mrs. Hall"
