Diana takes Richard into the mansion and right when she is about to proceed to her room, Màdámmë steps in the way.

"Diana,I need to talk to you for a few.Come to my room.NOW" Màdámmë orders woth a frown and goes to her room.

Diana had seen this coming so she silently followed behind.

Once in the room, Màdámmë directs Diana to take a seat on her leather sofa at the corner of the room.

"Make your self comfortable"she instructs and slowly adds to herself "you'll know why in no time"

Diana nods and sits down taking in the appearance of the room.
Màdámmë barely allows anyone in and being called here meant serious issues. To say that the room was beautiful would be an understatement, the queen-sized bed in the middle of the room with crimson beedsheets compliment by silver cushions, the peefectly carved wooden wardrobe attacted to the left wall, the window right behind the bed that had a overview of the back garden, the dressing table lined with hundreds of perfumes and eyeliners and lipstics, and the sofa set on the extreme right of the room where she was seated.Every single detail of the room was perfect and clearly reflected Màdámmë's taste.

Màdámmë Moroley is watching the wandering eyes of Diana and is satisfied that her choice is able to grab each person's attention that has ever been in the room.

"Diana"she calls out and starts her inquiry session,"You have been here for a year now and to see that you have learnt nothing about the house rules is utterly disappointing. It is the first time since my husband's death that any decision made has been without my consent.Just because I kept quiet in the hall doesn't mean that I am okay with your decision. You know that right?"

Diana just nods thinking it is best to not create a scene with a quarell.

Màdámmë continues,"Abel has always been abit rebelious but to think that he would try to ruin my pride is unbearable. You must be provoking him behind my back for sure.Ever since you were here I am losing Abel more.I should have known better than to allow a major's daughter to be the wife of my Abel. The poverty in your veins would never get used to our royality.You..."

"Stop mother!"Diana intterupted. She could take it no more.Dragging her parents into each of her faults had gone over the board now.She had to speak now.She had done nothing wrong in taking a decision for her own baby also a decision that most importantly made her husband happy. She had to be brave now and let her mother in law know that she was her son's wife and not one of the house maids she could oder around and treat like trash.
