I lay on my bedroom floor, hearing quiet voices coming from the kitchen. I knew it was my mom and her boyfriend - the girl didn't speak at all. My head was spinning with everything that was going on around me, I had no idea what was going on.
I had so many questions for my mom but the main question was why, why didn't she tell me about this relationship? Why didn't she tell me people were moving in? Why didn't she say more about them?
I had no idea who those people were, standing in my kitchen and yet they were becoming a huge part of my life. Moving into my house!
My thoughts were changed to the girl, she seemed to be so sweet and shy. I'd like to get to know her, honestly I don't think I'd mind her moving in here. Even though I'm happy with the friends that I have, sometimes I'd love someone who can be with me at all times. After all, the distance between me and Meghan can be upsetting at times.
After disappearing in my thoughts for God knows how long, I begin to hear footsteps so I stand up and walk over to my bed. The tanned girl from earlier walks into my room. I wave at her and she gives me a smirk.
That was definitely not what I was expecting from her. All I expected was a shy smile but I guess my time with the girl standing in front of me was going to be a little different than I had first thought. She stares at me with those deep chocolate brown eyes and my heart melts, this shouldn't be happening, I think to myself.
She winks
and takes off her hoodie. Considering the weather conditions, her outfit choice isn't very practical - a small black crop top.
She leans over me and whispers in my ear "Hey sexy, I'm Delilah." This definitely isn't the girl I was expecting her to be when I seen her standing innocently in the kitchen earlier today. It feels like forever since then.
