            ............. went to the barbeque area for food.

Josephina’s POV

            Food. I’m in food heaven. So much food. What shall I eat? So many, “What you doing?” Sam interrupted my thoughts. “Not much. Just deciding on what to eat.” I replied, eyes still looking at the food. “Ah, I know it’s a tough choice. I couldn’t decide either, but the chicken wings are DELICIOUS. Just saying.” Sam shrugged. “Chicken wings it is then.”I laughed waling over to the ‘Wings of Deliciousness’. “Hey.” said Sam still following me after I took my food. “Mmh?” I asked, reaching for a wing. Her hand stopped me. “HEY! I wanted to eat.” I glared at her. She just laughed it off. “You’ll survive. Kevin still following the routine?” she asked. “Yep.” I answered, taking a wing and putting it in my mouth. I moaned. “IT’S SO GOOD!” I said before eating more. “Told you so.” said Sam. I just nodded. “What do you think he’ll give you this year?” I know she’s talking about Kevin. “I don’t know. He gave me a book last year. It was a good book.” I answered. “It was a good book. Thanks for sharing it with me by the way.” I smiled at her.

            After finishing the food, it was already 8:30. So the girls and I went to the living room to open some of my presents. A few of the guests followed. I closed my eyes and picked one. The wrapping paper was blue with polka dots. “OOH~ It is a notebook. Just what I needed for school.” I said after opening it. This went on for about 20 minutes. So far, I’ve got a pencil case, an origami set, a novel, a song album of Taylor Swift (My Favourite Singer) and a few mirror key chains and stuff. “I gotta go. Got another present to claim.” I said to the girls before getting up and waving good bye. “Bye Jo. Get back soon. We’ll miss you.” said Nicki. “Haha. I’ll try.”  I replied then left.

            Caleb’s POV

            “Bye Jo. Get back soon. We’ll miss you.” said Nicki. “ Haha. I’ll try.” replied Josephina. They were joking around. Having fun. They don’t know this is their last meeting. She’ll be gone. Their happy times will be over. I smirked before walking away.

            Josephina’s POV

            It’s now 9, and Kevin’s not here yet. Where is he? It’s freezing out here. I looked up into the sky. “How beautiful. A full moon.” I said. Then, I felt a gush of wind making me shiver. Then I see Kevin coming from a distance. Finally.

            “What took you so long?” I asked annoyed. “It’s freezing.”

            “Sorry. I had some......business to take care of.” Kevin said smirking.

            “Business? What king of ‘business’ do you have? And why are you smirking? Kevin never smirks.” I said confused. He didn’t reply. “So, where’s my present?” I asked, not seeing him holding anything.

                “Oh, it’s right here.” Then he starts walking to me. I step back. Then I see sharp teeth slowly appear. “Kevin?” I said shaking. “I’m not Kevin. There’s no Kevin. It was all a game you see. Earning your trust. The present. It was all a game.” He said, taking a few more steps towards me. “Who are you? What are you?” I asked shaking even more out of fear. “I’m Caleb. And I’m a werewolf. Then he’s right beside me. His sharp teeth sinking into my skin. I tried to scream. Nothing came out. I couldn’t move. All I could think was ‘I’m doing to die.’ I’ll never see the girls again. I’ll never hear them laugh. We’ll never fight anymore. No more birthday parties, sleepovers. None. I’ll be gone.

            I felt his teeth retract. He. No! It is starting to stand up straight. I see blood around his mouth, my blood. It leaned into my ear, and said “Welcome to our world, Josephina.” Then I fell, welcoming it this time. This time I welcome death, to save me, from this monster. Goodbye girls.
