Zendaya POV
Andrew pressed play on the movie. I laid back. I was tired. I just got home after a long day. I had to go to the radio station. Then, I had another interview. Then I went to an award show. It's almost 9.
Andrew, my son, has been with his grandmother (Ronnie's mother) all day. We're both just getting home. He said that he wanted to make sure he got some mommy time before we both fell asleep.
So here we are. Watching Inside Out.
I pulled off one of my heels as one of my friends, Adrianna, called me. Andrew looked at me.
"Mommy. It's supposed to be Mommy and Andrew time." he whined.
"I know baby. I don't know what they're calling about. I'll check." I got up and walked out the living room. I answered the phone. "Hello?"
"Girl. What the fuck are you doing?"
"You called me to ask me what I was doing?"
"Uh yeah."
"Bitch bye." I said about to hang up. But I heard someone talking.
"Is this the friend you was telling me about?" the man asked. I knew it wasn't her boyfriend, CJ.
"Yeah. Zen. I know you told me not to set you up. But I know you'll like this one."
"Adrianna. Please."
"No. Come on. I mean. It's been 5 years. I think that you should move on." She's right. I mean. It's been a while since I had sex. Let alone been on a date.
"Adrianna. You promise me he isn't crazy."
She started laughing. "He's crazy in a good way." She said.
"Oh Lord."
"I promise."
"Whatever. I have to go because this is Mommy and Andrew time."
"Oh be a Mommy Zendaya. I'm sorry."
"Don't tell me. Tell Andrew." I said hanging up. I walked back into the living room. I saw Andrew laying across the couch sleep.
"Fuck." I mumbled. This wasn't the first time somebody called me and ruined mommy and Andrew time. I picked him up and carried him to his room. I put him in his bed and covered him up. "Night baby." I said. I kissed his forehead and left the room.
I walked past the painting of Ronnie. It was originally a picture of my baby bump. But Chris painted Ronnie on it. He was kissing my belly. I smiled.
"I miss you Ron." I said. I doge an walked into my room. I closed the door and got undress led and went to bed.

The Next Day.
I woke up early to go to the store. I didn't want to see a whole lot of people. And I wasn't hoping to see anybody special. So I just put on sweatpants and a t shirt. And put my hair in a bun. Meanwhile, Andrew, had on an Adidas sweatsuit. I don't know why he had it on. But hey. He had clothes on that matched.
We walked down the aisle with all the cereal.
"Go pick out 2 boxes of cereal you want." I told him. He ran up to the selves and searched. While he was looking, I opened my phone and got on ig. I smiled at the pictures that Quincy posted. They were cute. And it was from last night. Then I saw a video of me dancing. I smiled because I knew why I was dancing. And what I was dancing.
Quincy dared me to dance in the middle of the award show like a chicken. I laughed. Then I heard Andre throw the boxes of cereal in the cart. I looked at him. He smiled. Then I looked in the cart to see the cereal he got.
Fruity pebbles and cookie crisps. I looked at him. "No." I said. He knew exactly what I was talking about. He grabbed the Cookie Crisps and walked up to the selves. I was about to look at ig again when I saw this fine man staring at me. I smiled.
He smiled and winked. I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. Then looked away. I mean. I don't want to seem thirsty.
By then, Andrew, came back to me. He had Honey Nut Cheerios in his hands. "Great pick. Now lets go before Mommy does something stupid." I told him. I started to push the cart not paying attention and slammed into a self with glass on it. All the glass broke. I cringed.
"O brother." Andrew said taking my phone out my hand and calling Chris.
"I can pay for all of that." I said to the worker who came up to me. He looked angry. I shrugged. I didn't mean it.
"Nah. I got it homie." the man from earlier said.
"You're going to clean her mess?" the works asked.
"Uh no. I'll pay for it." He said. He winked at me. "Go to the register. I got this." He said. I stared at him for a minute before I pushed the cart and pulled Andrew to the register.
