Chapter One

No one's PoV:
Lyric and Edward were best friends as long as they can remember.

Let me tell you something interesting and kind of interesting.

Now you know how you always have a scared wimpy friend and that's the girl and the boy is the tough one and not afraid to get dirty once in awhile.

Well it's the opposite. The boy is the wimp while the girl is the tough fearless person.

Edward's Pov:
Me and Lyric were walking down the streets of Ninjago. She was in deep thoughts.

I decided to think too. I was wondering if she was really friend. Was she? Well how are you supposed to know who are the real and fake friends?

I asked Lyric. She snapped out of her thoughts and looked towards me. "Why do you want to know?" She answers me. Well just asking I answer kind of nervous.

"Well if you must know well you know you have real friends When they don't talk shit about you. Or doesn't spread rumors about you. Or if you want to go deeper into thought you know who the real ones are until they betray you. They are always there when you need them but....." she muttered the last part.

But what? I say. "But then you think they are your real friends but they are using you. You don't realize they are fake until they turn people against you and....."

And what? I keep asking her. "And...you were a fool to think they could actually be friends with you. When you stop wanting to be their but they give you reasons to give you reasons not too. Or they threaten you. Or beat you up and......"

She was at a verge at crying. I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry I say while.

It's not your fault it's mine for letting my feelings getting in the way she said while wiping tears from her eyes from her sleeve.

What do you mean "for letting my feelings getting in the way"

What I mean is I never show emotion. I never cry or feel pain. I keep it all inside and not show it. It's what makes me tough. I can't show emotion or they will think I'm a wimp. She said

She just looked at me with hurt in her eyes. Look tell me why you do that? I almost practically yell at her.

She looked down at the ground and back at me. She didn't say anything. Tell me how you feel right now???

"I feel pain but hoping it will fade away. Feeling hurt hoping it will all go away. Sorry for the life I have. Confused on how I feel when I'm around you" she said while turning red.
