Chapter 4

I woke up covered in sweat realizing that it was 3 other bodies in my bed, well two now cause Aaliyah had fell on the floor. Looking at the clock it was only 7am I groaned walking to my bathroom and undressing myself. I took a cool shower, got out and brushed my teeth, then put on one of Kam's old hoodie and my cheer shorts.
Oh shit Kam !

I rushed to his room and opened it quietly, I saw Butler on the floor just like how Aaliyah was & then there was Ty next to Kam in the bed. I decided to let him stay sleep and walked out the room. A weight of relief was lifted off my chest. I love my brother, he's really all I have and I think that's the reason why I get worked up over him.

I stopped thinking and went downstairs to watch tv. I fell asleep on the couch and when I woke up it was about 9:30. I'm guessing are girls were up because there was whip cream all over my face. So I let them have a little taste and smeared it all in there faces.
"Kayyy stopppp" Kirra whined. I laughed and got off of her.

"Okay get dressed we're leaving for IHOP in an hour." I told them as I walked over to Kam's room. The boys were halfway up, so why not wake them all the way up. I jumped right on top of Kam, leaving sisterly kisses all over his forehead and left eye. "Stop it Kay, I love you too, yes I'm fine, nobody died, got hurt, and the police are not looking for us." He laughed in my face. Kam already knew all the questions I would ask him.

"Well damn Kay not happy to see we're alive." Butler said sarcastically.

"Yea cause I like being shot at Sis" Ty agreed with Butler. I laughed at both of them and gave Them both headaches with my hugs. "Alright get dressed and text Chris & Russel that we're going to IHOP in a hour my treat."

I walked out the boys room and back into the living room. I pulled out my phone to tell my parents about last night.

"Hey mom! Hey Dad

Hey baby how are you guys ?

We've been better....

Why what happened ?

There was a shooting last night at a party we went too.

Oh goodness baby are you and your brother fine ?

Yes I'm okay, Kam is too. But I thought we agreed to lay low for now because we had basketball and cheer season ?

We did baby, we haven't done any business in a whole month. Somebody's else is on to you guys. Be careful ... Do you want protection ?
Because you know we got it like that for you guys ...

I think we can handle our own but just in case yea, protection is good.

Okay well I gotta go Your father says he loves you and I do too. Tell Kameron we love him and talk to you later Kayla. "

I hung up my phone and plopped down on the couch. Just then the door bell rang. It was Russel and Chris.

"Morning" Chris said as he walked in and greeted me with a hug. Russell did the same. But before I walked away he stopped me.

"Kayy please we need to talk" he looked at me and he seemed so drained and tired. I gave into him. "Okay but not now or right here" I scolded. He gave me a winning smile and sat on the couch. I ran upstairs hearing noise from Kam's room, knowing that he was well awake. But I was wrong.

My eyes set on Butler and Ty Dabbing while Kam was halfway sleep tryna do the same. So I helped him out. Jumping on top of Kam waking him up I was dabbing right along with Ty and Butler. Kam eventually pushed me off of him making me roll onto the floor. He picked me up and gave me the biggest hug ever.

We went out into the hallway while Ty and Butler were now Hittin Dem Folks. Before Kam could speak I cut him off. "You know how worried you had me right? You know this was a setup ? And that Brianna had something to do with it." Kam chuckled at me. "Kayy I told you that part, but I'm fine now we'll have on of our talks tonight. So for right now I'm glad I made it home, I love you sis" Kam finished as he gave me another hug and kissing me on my forehead. I slapped his butt signaling for him to get dressed which he hates and I continued to do the same.

So for breakfast I decided on a nice stripped dress that stopped knee length. I threw on gold sandals, and gold accessories to match. I straightened my hair from this morning and grabbed my purse to walk down stairs. Everyone was ready and we continued to head out for the cars and in the direction of IHOP.

We all were at IHOP & ordered our food. That's when Kam brought up the situation from last night.
" So let's talk about last night" he spoke first. Butler instantly got mad. "Man I was bout to smash this one chick and then that's when I heard them shots. Who set us up anyway?"

We all looked around and then Chris spoke. " It was Brianna." She knew we were gonna be there that's why when the shots rang off she was upstairs somewhere." He finished. I instantly saw Russell's eyes get wide like he saw a ghost but nobody noticed. Ty spoke this time. "So now what? We kill her right? Or am I being to harsh?" Aaliyah chuckled "Not harsh at all."

"Lower your voices! But we can't kill her as much as I would love to we can't. But how bout we take it back to middle school. Kayy & Kirra jump her after school." Kam said

"Alright fine with me." I said and Kirra agreed. The rest of our breakfast was spent playing around and seeing who could flirt with the waitress more Chris or Butler. Although it looked like she was going for Russell. Idk why though .. She can catch these hands any day.
