I get to the school just as the meeting begins. I get into my seat and look at the school board members.

"Ryn, we went over your appeal to graduate early... You have the required amount of credits, but we need you to take a test to ensure you place well." Board Director, Dina Harolds states.

Ugh... A test.

"Sure! When can we schedule it?" I ask.

After the meeting I stop by the coffee shop. I need my caffeine. I sit at my usual table, near the counter.

... Is that... oh God no...

My ex-girlfriend is sitting at the table across from mines, with her new girlfriend. They are all cuddled up in the booth. I sit my cinnamon roll down.

Come on, Ryn... it's been a month

I look at Melisa, memories coming back. The way we kissed, the way her hands touched my body...

Okay Ryn, too far!

I pull out my phone. Maybe Ellie messaged me back!
