*Hey Guys!! this is my first story so please go easy on me but please tell me what i can do to mk it betr!!! i love u guys!!!*
Hi my name is Catarina. I am 15 years old and my birthday is December 29th. I live in Portugal. (A/N i'm not really portuguese i just thought it'd be cool to do something different!!) I have long straight blonde hair that comes to the center of my back. I have big bright blue eyes, which are my favorite thing about me. Nothing else about me I really like. All my friends are taller than me they are 5'5 or taller I'm almost 5'2. I'm spending summer holidays in Paris, France with my mom Ana, my dad Pedro, and my 2 younger brothers Joao and Miguel.
We just arrived in Paris. Straight away we went to the hotel. We checked in and got four keys. Mom gave me one and said "Catarina, you and your brothers are sharing a room." and with that she started towards the elevator. Dad looked at me and my brothers with a look that said don't try to fight her and soon we followed to the elevator. We got to our rooms and put our luggage in. Mom and dad were in the room next door. I walked over and knocked on their door. "Come in" I heard dad say. I went in and put on the best innocent pleading look and asked, "Mom can we please go to FNAC (its a store where you can buy cds, books, dvds, electronic stuff, etc.) so I can get some more blink-182 stuff? I saw one on the ride here its not far from here, please?" Mom and dad looked at each other then at me and at the same time they said, "YES!" then mom added, "I need to get something from there anyways and I'm pretty sure the boys want that new game that just came out." I went over to my room and told my brothers the plan. They literally jumped for joy! lol.
As soon as we went into the FNAC store we split up and I went to the "disques" zone (cd's zone). I started searching for Blink-182. I finaly found a whole shelf full of Blink-182 cds.I started looking for the "Maximum Blink-182" cd (because its the one i couldn't find in my country) Finally I found it and it was the last one too! I quickly reached up to grab it but right when i was about to grab it someone else reached up and took it. I quickly turned my head and saw that the arm belonged to a very cute guy. He was just a bit taller than me. He had his hair dyed brown and it was in a cool style. I noticed his eyes were small and blue and he had a lip piercing like Tom DeLonge but on the other side of his mouth. I also noticed he was dressed like Tom DeLonge, too.
We just stood there for a minute looking at each other. I must admit he is pretty cute. *man i must look like and idiot just standing here staring at him. maybe i should say something* I thought. So I did just that. I told him, "take it, i'll buy that cd in another store." I really wanted that cd because i've been looking for it for awhile but i'll be nice and let him have it. Right after I said that hesaid, "no, you can stay with it. my band mate already has this cd. i was just buying to have one myself, but i can just listen to my mate's cd". I quickly took in what he just said then asked, "are you sure?". He smiled slightly and said or more like hyperly said, "Yeah. Absolutley!!" I smiled and said "erm, thanks." We stood there again for a little bit in silence then at the same time we said, "so, you like blink-182?" and "so, your in a band?". We looked at eachother then we both started laughing. Finally he said, "my names Dougie" and stuck his hand out for me to shake. I quickly took it and smiled at him and said "i'm Catarina". He then looked at me shyly and said "can i call you Cat? cuz Catarina is toooo big...". I thought about it for a second and looked at him and said "yeah. sure... and can i call you Doug, cuz Dougie sounds too gay..?" I started laughing and he just looked at me weirdly and then realised I was joking. I quickly stopped laughing and apologized. "Sorry, i'm kinda weird...and my jokes are stupid! it's blink-182's influences!" He started laughing and looked me in the eye and said "don't worry bout it.. i'm also like that! and its also blink-182's influences, they're like my fave band." omg no way we are sooo alike!!! i like this guy he's friendly and funny. I can't believe his talking to me though. "haha really? they're my fave too!! Tom is like my idol! I started learning guitar because of him!" It's true i love tom to death and he's sooo inspiring!! He looked at me amazed and said "NO WAY!! he's my idol!" then we both looked at each other and both said "WOW!!!" and the laughing started again. Once we both calmed down once again i asked "what's your band name?" He looked across the isle to me seeing as laughing so much we fell onto the ground. He answered, "McFLY. do you have a band or something? like, you play guitar, you could have a band...". I smiled and replied "I do. me and my best friend Catia decided to start a band. she's learning bass alone and i'm helping her. we had this drummer called Joana, she was one of my best friends. then she got herself a boyfriend and she left the band cuz she prefered being with him than with the band. but then me and Catia found this punk-rock girl called Diana and we put her playing drums. she's learning drums with this drummer from a portuguese band called 'Tara Perdida'. we call him 'Yoghurt'. she's getting better in the drums." It's true me and Catia are practically sister's we go through everything together. "So you're like a girl band?" Doug asked with curiosity. "yeh but we play punk-rock music." he seemed satisfied and he asked "does your band have a name?" "Yeh our band is called Un-Predictable". Weird name but we couldn't think of anything and knowing us we can be unpredictable at times so we named it that. "nice! do you wanna meet my band mates? I think Danny and Tom are in the video game section and Harry is i the DVD section.... we could go to the DVD section first... what do you think?" he asked. Cool he wants me to meet his mates. Hopefully they're as down to earth like Doug. "Yeh sure, LETS GO!" oops... that came out a little too overly excited.
