I was tyring to take in my new surroundings. Small town, woodsy, kinda gloomy. I had just moved to Beaconhills from a much bigger city in Southern California. I really wasn't going to miss my old city mostly becasue it was full of douche bags and good for nothings. I didn't have much friendsback home not because I couldn't make friends for anything I just really hated everyone.
The upside to moving here is that my new house is much bigger than my old one and a lot better looking than it. At first i was really upset about leaving my friends behind but they weren't the most normal friends a girl could have. But I really don't want to relive that part of my past here.
My mom was finishing unpacking the boxes in the kitchen while my dad unloaded my boxes full of my stuff.
"Heres the last box,Buttercup." My dad said handing me a small box, he always called me Buttercup ever since I was a kid because I acted like Buttercup from the PowerPuff Girls.
"Thanks" I said taking the box up to my room.
My room was on the second floor facing the outside street. It was bit bigger than my old room. When you entered my room the closet was to the left, and my dresser was next to three windows. The walls were sort of a dark beige color with wooden floors. I had a queen sized bed with dark purple sheets with matching pillows. All of my furniture are made of dark wood nothing really matched but I wasn't those types of girls who were percise about everything being perfect or matching in this case.
I finished unpacking my boxes and began to fix up my school bag. My parents enrolled me in Beaconhills HIghSchool. They couldn't give me a week to really settle in so instead they're making me go to school the day after we arive to a new town.
I pulled out my binder that I used for the last two years in highschool. It was black and was plasted in photos of bands and TV shows I was into but the picture that caught my eye was one that was taken in a photobooth at a local mall back home. The picture was of me and the three of my firends, Amy, Rosie, and Ali. Amy was the tallest out of all of them, her hair was shoulder length with fringe style bangs, it was a brownish redish color. She had freckles across her nose and under her green eyes. The girl next her was Rosie the second tallest she had straight blonde hair and golden eyes. Than there was Ali who was Rosies height and had fading raindow hair. I always liked her hair she was always chaning her hair color every month. She had green eyes just like Amy. They were all so beautiful and I felt very insecure standing next to them.
We were friends since elemantary school nothing was able to tore us apart except the fact that I moved away. We always had sleepovers and constantly went over eachothers houses. We considered ourselves sisters we even had our own codes, but this was all in the past now.
I took one last look at the picture of all of us making the most unattracive faces as we possibly could and I took a push pin and pinned it up on my corkboard that hung over my bed, hopfully I could fill it up of pictures of me and my new friends that I make here.
I took a shower and went straight to bed not wanting tomorrow to come. Making new friends wasn't that hard for me I just had this feeling like something was going to happen to tomorrow.
