Chapter 1

Hazel's Pov

I was sleeping when I felt a tap on my shoulder. As I opened my eyes, I saw Josh staring at me. I shrieked in sudden fear and in an attempt to back away, I fell from my bed landing with a thump on the floor.

" Ouch," I shouted and before I could day something else, I heard my brother laughing.

" You are soo funny" he said laughing even more.

" Shut up. At least help me get up" I said glaring at him.

" Oh c'mon Hazel, you're big enough to get up by yourself. Now C'mon I'm sure you don't wanna be late for your first day at university you lazy ass." hr said walking away.

I got up and move on my bed trying to get my precious sleep back.

" Hazel! "

" Alright I'm up." I painfully got up and went to the bathroom. I took a bath and made my way back to me room. I removed a pair of tight dark blue jeans, my white converse and a white crop top. I was wearing my clothes when I the door opened.

" Josh!!!" I shouted sending him death glares.

" Clam down sis" he told me and sat on my bed.

" What do you want? Can't you see I'm getting ready?" I snapped.

" wear this," he simply told me and handed me his basketball jersey.

" Why?" I asked giving him a confused look.

" Just wear it" he said.

" I want everyone to know that you are my little sister and no one will mess with you looking at it" he said getting up.

We kept arguing about it for a few minuted then I accepted defeat.

" Ugh, ok I'll wear it" I said.

" That like a good girl," he said and messed my hair with his hand.

After eating my breakfast, I rushed to my brother who was waiting for me in his car.

" C'mon hurry up lazy ass" my brother said starting his car.

" I have my own car, I can go." I snapped.

" No argument! Get in" he said.

I got in the car and we drove to the university. A few minutes later when we arrived, I saw that the university was huge.

" Wow" I muttered under my breath.

" C'mon let's go" my brother said and we made our way inside.

On our way, some boys waved at my brother. They must be his team mates. Josh told me to go and he'll join me later.

I was walking through the corridors when I noticed all the eyes on me. I was wondering why all these eyes were fixed on me. I was walking towards my locker when suddenly I felt two arms hugging me from the back and lifted me. I let go a small screech. As I turned, I saw Luke, one of my very close friends.

" Luke!!! " I nearly screamed and hugged him.

" How did you know it was me from the back?" I asked him.

" Your brother's jersey" he said laughing.

" Ooh ya " I said laughing.

" I'm soo happy you are here" we said in unision.

" Where is Stephanie?" he asked confused because we are always together.

" Umm... She got some personal problems and she will come in a few weeks " I said and we walked together for our first class. chemistry.

The class went pretty smoothly except the fact that the teacher was a bit creepy. After that, I had another class and finally it was lunch time. I was walking towards the cafeteria with Luke by my side laughing  when I bumped into someone. I was so busy talking to Luke to even notice the person properly. Without looking at the person, I just said a quick sorry and continued walking with Luke hearing his funny jokes. The person grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him making me hit a hard chest.

" Hey!" I shouted angrily.

I lifted my head and looked at the guy in the eyes. He had pretty brown eyes, beautiful lips and hair in a perfect quiff.

" Stop checking me out" he said smirking.

" Ugh, leave me" I said rolling my eyes and trying to escape his grip.

" Stop moving Hazel" he said looking at me.

" Hazel? How do you know my name?" I asked confused.

" Do I know you?" I continued.

" Your eyes" he said smirking.

I saw his friends laughing. " leave me" I continued struggling.

Then I felt a hand pull me away from the guy. I turned and looked at Veronica. The Queen Bee of the uni accompanied by her two other friends. I recognised her because Luke told me she had purple hair which was impossible not to notice and believe me, it was.

" Get off my boyfriend!" she shouted angrily sending me death glares.

" I have no interest in sticking to your boyfriend!" I spammed.

" So what were you doing stick to him?" she asked.

" He pulled me to him when I was Walking" I spammed angrily.

I looked at him angrily and he gave me a smirk. Luke came near me and told me let's go.

" Ugh," I said and said and started walking with Luke. Then again Veronica, this bitch, blocked my way.

" Wait, what no sorry?" She said.

" You cannot leave without saying sorry." one of her friends beside her said.

" I'm not saying any sorry to you" I said crossing my arms and looking at her straight in her eyes.

" You will have to say sorry or I will not let you leave" she said.

" Why arguing with this bitch, just tell her a quick sorry and we'll go away." Luke whispered I'm my ear. Needless to say, a small crowd was already gathered around us.

" Ok, I'm sorry..... Bitch" I said looking at her straight in her eyes.

We heard the crowd making and " ooooh " sound. I smirked.

" Did you just called me a bitch?" She said fuming.

" You know, you shouldn't be angry because look, we call a doctor "doctor",  we call teacher " teacher",  we call a singer "singer",  likewise, we must call a bitch " bitch" You see. It's kinda a rule." I said smirking and patted her shoulder and went away. I saw a smirk on the boys face and all the other students were laughing in Veronica's face which was fuming with anger . I turned and walked away. Luke gave me a high five and we walked to the canteen.

What a great start....
