I laughed as I ran straight into my daddy's arms. Oh, his hugs made me feel so safe and warm. "Daddy! Daddy!" I said to him excitedly. "Yes Kace?" He chuckled. "I love you so much daddy. And! I'll never stop! 😊" I gave him a great big hug. "Aweh, I'll never stop loving you either Kace." He kissed my cheek as my two year old sister started running toward us. "La-la-love oo." She tried saying. "We love you too Sophie!" I took her hand and spun her around. She was so happy, which made me happy. I kept laughing at her as she was being silly.
I brought her to my room and sat her on my bed. "Sophie, I know you're a little young to hear this and understand. But, you mean the world to me. I wouldn't trade my baby sister for anything! I'll always be on your side. I know I'm five and you're two, but I want to give you something that means a lot to me, and I want you to have it Soph." I picked up my favorite baby doll I used to carry around with me everywhere I went. "Now, don't lose it. I trust you to be careful with it and treat her well." She smiled and nodded as she took it out of my hands very gently. It was 8:30 pm, and we fell asleep together that night on my bed.
Yawwwnnn.
I open my eyes and Sophie wasn't there sleeping in my arms. She probably woke up and went downstairs already. But I hear my parents whispering outside my door before I even got out of bed. "Mommy? Daddy? Why are you whispering?" I asked. "Shh. Your sister is still sleeping. We moved her in her room this morning." My mommy told me. "Oh, okay." I hopped out of bed and went to go hug her. "Want some Mickey pancakes lady bug?" My daddy swung me in the air giving me a great big bear hug. "Mmm my favorite!" I giggled as he brought me downstairs.
He put me on a chair as he started being really silly! He started singing. "Here's the wonderful plate you eat off my majesty. (He put the plate down in front of me) And what about the royal silverware for my princess? (He put the silverware next to the plate) Last but not least! The fabulous Mickey pancakes made by the dazzling king!" And he flopped the pancakes onto my plate as I started to giggles and pour syrup onto my pancakes.
By the time I put the syrup on my pancakes Sophie had waken up and come down for breakfast. My daddy did the same thing with her and she couldn't stop giggling! My life couldn't be any more perfect. The most caring parents and most loving sister. I couldn't ask for anything more. I didn't want anything more. I already had everything I wanted. My family.
"Who's ready to watch some spongebob?" My dad playfully asked. "Me! Me! Me!" All the girls chanted. "Then get your butts in here and let's start watching!" He started laughing. Everyone gathered in the family room and sat on the couch, as we all snuggled into each other.
Spongebob SquarePants! Spongebob SquarePants! Spongebob! SquarePants!
We all started singing along the the theme song and my daddy made all these funny faces. We all couldn't stop laughing. And we laughed during the whole episode. So afterwards, my mommy brought us upstairs and help get our clothes on for the day. Mommy said we're going to the mall today! So she helped me put my skirt and t-shirt on and put my jean vest over the shirt. Sophie and I wear the same clothes. But it doesn't bother me. I love her too much for it to bother me.
I ran down the stairs and made a pose with my hands up in the air, "Who's ready to go shopping with this girl??" And I smiled as big as I could. "Oh you know I do little miss princess!" My daddy picked me up and held me in his arms. "Hey Kace. I hope one day you grow up to be a super star. Any kind of super star you want. Go for acting, or singing, or dancing, or just be the super star that's always going to be in your heart." He took my hand and placed it on my heart and smiled. "I will daddy. You won't be sorry." And I kissed his cheek.
We walked out the door as we got in the car, and drove off to the mall. I knew today was going to be another amazing day. I can't wait for what comes next in my life. But I knew, it was going to be something great.
