Glitchy rolled over in her small bed,her short deep brown hair a mess and her light brown fur messy as well and she felt the sun come through her window.She saw her mother waiting at the edge of her and her sister's bed "Mom..." Glitchy sleepily said as she rubbed her eyes "What are you-" she yawned "Doing?" her mother clapped her hooves together "Today is your first day of school!" Painty's head shot up "School? What is that?" Painty's bright red hair wasn't as messy as Glitchy's but her light pink fur was a bit messy.Her mother nodded "Yes,it's where you learn more than I could teach you and meet new ponies or creatures " that word stood out to Painty making her green eyes filled with wonder,creatures...only being the age of 7 she only knew about ponies and the different kinds,her mother did homeschool her and her sister but never said anything about other creatures than ponies.Painty snapped out of her thinking of this word and focused her attention to her mother "Me and daddy will take you today" Glitchy's hazel eyes went from soft to sharp "You mean...leave the house?" she asked in a angered tone.Her mother's smile started to fade "Yes.." Glitchy rolled her eyes and put her face in a pillow,sighing loudly.Painty hopped over Glitchy onto the floor next to her mother,at least one of her children were happy to go.
Glitchy walked by her pegasus father as Painty hopped by her mother.Glitchy looked at her father's flank,he had a money sign with a hammer next to it,when she looked at her own she saw-nothing.She looked up at her father "Dad" she softly began "I have two questions..." her father nodded "Shoot" Glitchy looked at the ground then back at him "Well,how come mom doesn't have a horn or wings and you have wings and Painty is a unicorn? And I don't have any wings or horn" her father looked at her "Because,your grandma is a unicorn and Painty is alot like her" Glitchy's steps slowed "And...why..." she breathed in then out "Why don't I have a special mark yet?" her father smiled "That'll cone when your older" he bonked her with his long soft tail "Now,come on! Let's race!" he ran past Painty and their mother and to the school where fillies and their parents were.
Glitchy shyly looked around at all the fillies,but one in particular she didn't want to make any content with.It was a filly who had a bright blue scarf with a single diamond in it,white fur,and a orange braided mane and tail.Glitchy didn't know what it was but she just didn't wanna make any contact with that filly,Glitchy only gave her a quick glance and sat near the school door,ready to open them up for everypony.Painty looked around at all the new faces but noticed three that were standing almost behind the school.The first one she saw was a grey she-wolf wearing a purple school shirt and a skirt.The other was a pink dragon like pony,it had dragon feet for it's front feet and normal hooves for the back and deep blue hair and lighter blue eyes.Lastly there was a normal pony,she had pale grey fur,bright red hair with deep pink streaks and blue eyes but her eyes looked a little...different...
