Angelica pats me on the back.
"Good luck Indi" she whispers into my ear.
I grab the bow with a sweaty fist. This year hasn't been for me. I'm not complaining but Bella got unreal scores in both discuss and shot put my brother got an amazing score in discuss as well. Kaity did even better in shot put than Bella. Brianna did four laps in 3 seconds and Angelica came 2nd over lapping me on the last turn. I twirl the bow as I snatch an arrow from the shelf. I stand on the dot marked for me. I have three chances for hitting the grape. No ones hit the grape yet. That's why there's a chain of fruits behind it. A apple followed by a cantaloupe then a water melon. Most people hit the watermelon but if your good you might hit the cantaloupe. I charge the bow holding onto the small arrow. And I let go it dips down in line with the centre of the grape. Then bullseye, it skewers through the grape and slides along catching each fruit. I rush over to Angelica.
"OMG" we both scream.
" I did it!" I yell
"I know Indi! I was there!" Angelica screams
She hugs me and I pull her over to Kaitlyn. I spot Bella on the other side of the barrier, scribbling in her notebook.
"Why's Bella over there? Shouldn't she be celebrating her win with us?" I ask
"Apparently she cheated." Kaitlyn starts. "But I don't see how, cause I bet her and I didn't cheat."
"Oh wait I've got to go my next things on soon I'm doing rock climbing." Angelica says.
