Tobin's P.O.V.
We just won our game against China 4-0, and I think everyone was happy about how we played. Amy and I scored all of the goals. As we walk into the locker room we see coach talking to a girl. She has Tan skin, waist length black hair with red streaks, bright green eyes, and freckles. She is pretty small with a narrow build.
"Whose that?" I ask Ash.
"I dunno" she replies. I just shrug and sit down next to Ash by our lockers.
"Does anyone know who that girl talking to coach was?" Ash shouts.
"I DON'T KNOW ASH!" Kelley screams. The whole locker room is filled with laughter.
"HEY! NO SCREAMING! THAT'S MY THING!" I hear someone yell. It was Abby. I was dying with laughter now. I heard someone whistle and everyone became quite and looked to see who did it. It was our coach.
"Ok, so this is Thalia. She's new to the team I expect you to welcome her nicely." Coach said. The girl, Thalia, looked uncomfortable in the spotlight so I said "Hey. Welcome to the team."
"Thanks"
We all piled on the the bus and I saw that Thalia was alone.
"Hey Al, can I sit with Thalia? She looks lonely." I ask my bus buddy.
"Sure. I'll go sit with Kel." she walks up and sits down next to Kel and I get up and walk over to Thalia.
"Hey mind if I sit with you?"
"Yes." she says. Then she starts laughing. "Of course you can." She moves over and I plop down into the seat.
"Ok, so tell me a little about yourself." I say.
"Ok. Um, I'm 19, My favorite color is red, I play striker, and I hate dressing up."
"Ok. I'm 23, my favorite color is blue, I play left middy, and I also hate dressing up." I say.
"Cool."
"Give me your phone." I tell her. She gave me a questioning look and then gave it to me. I added my number and gave myself a soccer ball and blue heart then gave it back to her. We spend the rest of the bus ride talking about funny stories and then got to the hotel.
"Ok, ladies. Listen up." We all looked up and stopped talking. "Listen for who your rooming with. Kelley and Hope, Arod and Cheney, Moe and Kling, Ali and Ash, Tobin and Thalia, Carli and Abby..." the list kept going on and when she finished I grabbed my room key and head up with Thalia by my side. Arod and Cheney and Hope and Kelley were our neighbors.
"Which bed do you want?" I ask her as we walk into our room.
"I don't care." She was about to put her stuff down on the bed by the wall and I sat down on it before she could.
"I'll take this one." I scream. She rolls her eyes and starts to put her bags down on the other bed. I sprint over and dive on to the bed.
"Actually I want this one." this time she just shakes her head and pushes me off.
"Hey." I say rubbing my shoulder. She just laughs and lays down on her bed, taking out her phone.
I walk over to my bed and take out my phone too. I take a picture of her and post it on Instagram, saying: new player, new roomie, a mean one too. JK love her. :-)
She looks up from her phone and says "Really?"
"Yup." I say cheerfully"
"This is gonna be a long camp." she says jokingly. I give her a playful glare and go back on my phone.
