It has been three weeks since Aaron first arrived at Camp Half Blood. He was no longer the new kid; he got used to the camp life and to his siblings (Getting used to Travis and Connor was a big achievement, really). Him and Chase didn't talk much. They just smiled or waved at each other. However, no matter how many times Chase looked at Aaron, his cheeks turned red as a tomato. Chase was heading to get breakfast when Elfy called him. She was with the new girl, Ashley (yep, there are a LOT of new people at camp.). "Chase! There is a new prophecy!" Chase turned to look at her . Her brown hair was tied to a ponytail and her eyes were reflecting the sunlight. Chase replied to the daughter of Iris"Wait what? What's the prophecy about??" Usually, Elfy was chill, but today she looked nervous as Hades and that scared Chase. "I... I don't know, Chiron thinks you could help him solve the prophecy. He's at his office" Chase looked up to the sky. He really wanted to hear the prophecy, but his stomach was groaning. "Okay, I will check it out as soon as I eat my breakfast." He continued walking to the dining pavilion.

Chase finished his breakfast and rushed to Chiron's office. When he arrived, Chiron was looking at a piece of paper. He looked up and made a weak smile."Chase Asher, how are you?" He asked. Chase returned the smile and replied "I'm fine, thank you... You called me, for the prophecy thing, right?" Chase combed his short, blond hair with his fingers. His expression was showing hints of anxiety."That's very true. Miss Dare recited a new prophecy. It doesn't sound as dark as Percy's old quests, but we still don't know what it means and since you're a son of Athena, I thought you might want to help me understand it". Chase's eyes opened wide and he was suddenly less nervous. He was going to solve a prophecy!"Oh, okay. Let me take a look" he said; reaching for the paper. He took it and studied it. Chiron waited for a moment and said "You can take that to your cabin and study it, Rachel and Aaron can substitute for your work for today."Chase felt a little spark in him when Chiron mentioned the boy's name. He said "Okay, I'll tell you if I find anything" Chase left the room and walked back to his cabin.

The Athena cabin was a neat, typical type of cabin. The wooden walls had always given Chase the memory of going to the forest. He met Lou there; she was running from some kind of monster (there was a long, hard name for them, but he wasn't in the mood to remember them). Chase could not forget how he put his hand on Lou's shoulders and created a shield of Greek letters. In general, Chase's power was to be able to create cool stuff from...letters and the only way he could recharge his powers was to read. He put the paper on the table and read the prophecy a few times. It made no sense to him. Finally he gave up and looked around his cabin. There were five beds. The first one was his; it was the messiest of them all. The other one was Malcolm's and it was pretty neat. Three of the beds were empty. Chase knew that one of them was Annabeth Chase's old bed. Well, she was with Percy now... Whatever. He glanced at the small window.. Outside, he saw Aaron and Rachel Dare. They were teaching fencing to the younger kids. Whenever they swished their wooden swords, Chase could see Aaron's muscles tensing and relaxing. His eyes were gleaming and he was smiling. Gods, Chase just wanted to press his mouths against those thin lips of his. Chase imagined the warmth of Aaron's body and the feels of his soft lips. Also his tongue and his skin...Chase quickly looked away from him. His cheeks were burning. He felt so embarrassed about that thought.... After a minute, he glanced back at the window. Aaron was looking at Rachel's shining red hair and smiling. He probably likes her Chase thought, sadly; getting ready to look away. Just as he turned his head back to the paper, he heard the kids scream.
