Brielle P.O.V.~~~~~
"BEEEEP! BEEEEP!" went my dumb alarm clock. It was 7 o'clock in the morning on a Monday, and I really didn't feel like getting up. Why was I up this early? I really don't know. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. School.
I lugged myself out of bed and headed to the bathroom to start my daily morning routine. After I was done, I picked my outfit for today. A plain white V-neck shirt, a floral denim jacket, blue jeans, and my Timberland boots. I put on my clothes, went downstairs, ate breakfast, grabbed my backpack and left the house.
Don't get me wrong, I was very excited to go to school, but I just didn't like the idea of meeting new people. Yuck. I waited patiently for the bus while checking my phone. Eight new messages.
-9:16 pm-
Jessi: BRI, WHERE R U?
Jessi: BRI, Y DIDN'T YOU CALL ME?
-6:46 am-
Jessi: Good Morning Bestie <3
Jessi: Wake up sleepy head
Jessi: R u ignoring me?!?!!!
Jessi: BRIELLE!!!!!!!!
Jessi: >:(The last message was notifying me that my phone bill is due soon. I decided to reply back to Jessica.
-7:58 am-
Sorry Jessi, I didn't c ur msgs till now. What's up?
Jessica and I met when we were four. We lived in the same neighborhood, and went to each others house almost everyday. By the time we were 11, Jessica had to move away to California because her dad got a new job there. Now, her mother and father are divorced, so she moved with her mother back to Florida. We don't live in the same neighborhood anymore, but she's still pretty close by.
Anyways, I put my phone back in my pocket and kept waiting for the bus. It soon pulled up to my bus stop.
"Are you Stacey?" The bus driver asked."No, I'm Brielle."
"Oh, alright. Take a seat."
I guess I'll have someone with me at my bus stop tomorrow. Yipee.
Jessica P.O.V.~~~~~I've been texting Brielle all night and she hasn't replied to any of them! Ugh, she's just so aggravating sometimes. Ignoring the fact that stupid Brielle wouldn't text me, I ate some breakfast and left my luxurious house. My Mom was waiting for me in the car.
"Nena, ¿qué pasa?" She said. It means "Baby, what's wrong," in Spanish.
"Nothing, Mamá," I replied.
"If you say so, nena," She said with a very thick accent.
I secretly did have something wrong, but I didn't want to tell her. I'm just really nervous about going to this new school. I know it's only tenth grade, but still. The rest of the car ride I sat in silence, looking out the window and thinking about how my day will go. Sigh.
"Dinnng!" My phone went.
-7:58 am-
Bri: Sorry Jessi, I didn't c ur msgs till now. What's up?
-8:01 am-Thank goodness u replied! I was getting worried! Anyways, I was wondering if u could show me around the school today, u know since I'm no and all.
Oops I meant new not no 😅
After I sent her the message, I started playing games on my phone until I arrived at school.
