Cassie's POV
I felt my watch vibrate. 'Finally,' I thought as I pulled my note from "dad" out of the pocket of my denim skirt. I slid my notebook into my shoulder bag and stood, glancing up at the teacher.
I handed the note to my teacher. He glanced at it and nodded, gesturing me out of the class. I pushed open the heavy door and rushed out to my locker.
I ran into the principal on the way out. He smiled at me, but I just nodded, walking a bot faster. I ducked into the office and signed myself out. I rushed outside and broke into a run towards my hover board. Throwing on the helmet, I made myself scarce.
Forty-five minutes later, I found my idiot partner lounging in an alley. I smacked him on the side of the head with my head and again with his earbuds, which I pulled angrily from his ears. "Jaq Bird, you're lucky that I don't kill you myself right now!" I screamed. I hit him again, this time with my shock inducing glove. When he yelped, I screamed at him again "Maybe you'll answer the call next time, you stupid donkey!"
I was really angry at Jaq, and I wanted to chew him out, but headquarters would be very disappointed if I did.
