Sebastian stepped inside Ciel's bedroom - he could sense that something was wrong. "Master? Are you alright?" the butler asked softly. He heard no response, but only the sheets rustling as the boy rolled over in his bed. "Master?" Sebastian decided to walk over toward him to investigate. What he saw was little less than heartbreaking - small tears streaming down pale cheeks, fists clenched tight, midnight blue eyes slammed shut. The butler bent down on one knee beside him, a peaceful smile crossing his lips. "My goodness. What ever is the matter? You should be sleeping, not crying." Ciel opened his eyes just enough to make out Sebastian's face. "I miss them, Sebastian, my parents," he sniffles. "And I... I-" He was unable to finish his sentence. "You what, sir?" The demon pushed the boy's sweat-soaked hair out of his face, tilting his head in compassion. "I...I cannot say it. I don't know how. I wish I could allow my feelings to escape, so that maybe they wouldn't hurt this much," he said, pulling the sheets up over his nose. With a chuckle, Sebastian looked into his master's eyes. "Find the words, my lord. You know what you are feeling - now, figure out how to express it. It pains me to see you suffer this way." A loving hand crossed over Ciel's cheek. "Will you stay with me...? Until I fall asleep? I beg of you, Sebastian." He scooted closer to his servant. "You needn't beg me for anything. I will stay beside you, through thick and through thin, in triumph and in failure, in light, or in darkness. No matter what may befall your path, I shall stand at your side. And I know you cannot speak of it, but you long for your mother and father more than anything, even more than vengeance. I will be your way of expression, the vessel through which you can channel your bottled-up emotions. You do not have to speak for me to know just what you're going through." - ♝
