"So why don't you just ask Shinya out?" Goshi asked again, walking along side Guren to a cash register.
It was the end of the day where their were just a few more late night customers. Most just walking in to grab a few things and leave, the usual night people.
"Yeah, I guess he does, but he's always messing with you the way he does. And whenever we do he just acts, I don't know, he's just genuinely happier. If that's even possible for him, but when you two are together he really is happy..."
Goshi, Guren, Shinya and Mito worked the night shifts. Guren and Goshi were currently open at two registers, but of course the dark blond man rather talk to someone them wait for anyone.
Mito and Shinya were together working in the back, putting away a few things. The supermarket was to close in an hour or two so, they were already getting started for closing.
"Because i -just don't know how, dammit. He's always teasing me and messing with me. Doesn't he do the same with you?" Guren brushed his hand through his hair, as he thought of the other mans question.
Shinya and him were friends it was obvious, but the way Guren has been feeling for months said otherwise. Shinya was still his usual teasingly joking self, mean while Guren was still his usual hot tempered self. But whenever he was around Shinya more his heart would feel light.
When the younger male would get closer to Guren, his heart would start to beat fast. When ever he would get teased the dark haired male, would end up blushing. When ever the Shinya put his hand on Guren's shoulder, he would get stiff from the contact.
Just the other day ad they were working on inventory together, Guren and Shinya were putting away boxes. But then one box was too heavy, so they tried putting it away together.
That for Guren only made things worst, they were around the same height so whenever they lifted the box up together. Shinya was close to him again it wasn't purposely this time but still. Guren's arms began to shake, and his legs felt wobbly.
It was really Shinya lifting up the heavy box, and Guren just trying to keep his balance standing. Because what happened next, he hated himself for.
The box had fallen onto them, as the dark haired male ended up laying on the other. Whatever was in the box had broken, they heard it all shatter.
When the box had fallen customers all tried peaking, and taking a look at what had happen to the two store workers. Kureto their manager of the store, made his way through the crowd of people to see someone he hated on top of his brother.
After that Kureto took every chance he had to yell at Guren for something or anything he did. Along with that he would ask his brother if he was okay, and if he was alright. Considering a full grown man and box full of glass, and what ever else they were able to fit in fell on him.
Guren hated to admit it, but he didn't like the kind of attention Shinya was getting from his so called brother. They weren't even related, not by blood he was adopted, do the way Kureto looked at Shinya he didn't like.
"Oi! Guren?!" The man was pulled out of his thoughts, as Goshi was in front of him with some women.
"I'm sorry mam, here I'll ring you up over here." Goshi lead the women to another register, as he rung up her products as she left.
Guren leaned forward onto the counter with the register on his side, huffing out. Shinya was almost always on his mind now, but for Guren to be distracted by the male when he wasn't even there? That was sad.
His friend walked back to his counter, arms crossed looking directly at him.
"Were you just thinking about him?"
