"Mommy, mommy I want to play on the swings. Can I mommy please please please?"

"Sure sweetie. How about you go on one before me. Mommy has someone to see
first before I play with you okay?" Mommy asked with sincerity.

"Okie dokie mommy. Will you push me extra high too?!" I asked with excitement evident in my voice.

She laughed under her breath and said to me, "Of course sweetheart. Anything for you. Now go over to the swings and I'll be there shortly. Okay?"

"Okay mommy." Then I went to the swings like she said.

I saw mommy walk over to weird looking men. They looked weird because they were all dressed in black. Why would they dress in black in the middle of summer. That'll make them really, really hot.

I soon saw mommy yelling at the shady men that surrounded her. I never saw my mommy so angry before. She was scared as well. I don't know
How I know, she just does.

I saw one man pull out something shiny and long from his pants. I didn't know what it was, but I knew it was big trouble so I screamed out, "Mommy!"

They all looked at me. The mean men looked at me with blank, yet surprised looks and my mommy was scared senseless.
"Mommy, what's wrong?" I asked walking to her when she said, "No Elena. Just stay there. Mommy's coming in just a second. Okay? Just go back to the swings alright?"

I was going to go back because my mommy said so, but I couldn't. Someone grabbed a hold of me while I screamed a shrilling one at that. It was clear he was a man from his rough hands and gruff voice as he said, "Now Natalya, why do you want that so much. Shouldn't you at least introduce us to the little girl?"

I'm a smart little girl, so if I knew this was bad and if he asked a question liked that, I would lie. Obviously, they knew mommy, but didn't know of me. So I'll give them a fake name.

"Sweetie why don't you say your name to the nice man right there besides you." She said in a fake smile, her teeth clenched.

"Ok mommy. My name is Vanessa." I stuttered out of fear.

The man smile at me, but this smile was slimy and creepy.

"Well hello Vanessa. I'm Victor. We both have V names. Isn't that cool?" He said with flawed excitement.

I played my cards right. "Really?! That is so cool, but sir, may you please let go of my arm. You're hurting me." Wrong card I pulled.

He only pulled me closer to him, his grip harder. "Let go of my daughter. She has nothing to do with this." My mommy pleaded, but it wasn't the mommy I knew. It was a woman I have never seen before. Cold, hard, and stoned. Where did my mommy go?

"Aw, now why would I do that? Hmm? I think we should give her that show she's been waiting for. Right Vanessa?" He asked with sickened, twisted smile.

That smile changed my mind. "No sir, I don't want to see a show. I'm sleepy." I lied smoothly to the scary man.

His smile dropped, showing his true colors. "Oh well. You're going to watch anyway. I'm sure you'll like it."
